It's currently 7:20am. At 7:30am, Anna finds out if she's been chosen for the England team for the Euros. She's a nervous wreck right now and i mean, can you blame her? There's cameras and the media team here filming for a documentary so we've been up since early.
Anna: I'm so scared love.
Sophie: You've got this okay. You deserve this, love.
Media: We've almost finished setting up so if you could go to the table, that would be great.
Anna: Is Soph aloud to be in the shot?
Media: If you want her to be a part of this, then of course.
Anna: Thank you.
It's now 7:28am and she'll be having the email at any moment now. The room is quiet and the tension starts to build up. The nervous kind of tension. All of the sudden, Anna receives that email. She's giving out mixed messages right now. She's crying but smiling, is that a good thing?
Anna: I'm in. I've done it.
Anna's mam: I'm so proud of you.
Anna's dad: So proud of you my baby girl. You deserve this.
Anna: Thank you guys. I love you both so much.
Anna goes into hug them and they stay there a while. I feel like i'm intruiding so i went into the next room. The camera is on them so hopefully it doesn't catch me leaving. It would look bad.
Anna's dog comes and jumps on top of me and i pet it and cuddle with the dog. Soon after, Anna and the camera crew come into the room. I'm confused but i go straight over to Anna to send her my congrats.
Sophie: You deserve this more than anyone Anna. I'm so proud.
Anna: Have you not heard the news?
Sophie: That you got in? Of course i have.
Anna: You're in the team too Soph. You're going to the Euros.
At that moment i was feeling so many different emotions. I sat down again and put my head into my hands. I'm feeling confused, happy but most of all, i feel proud. I haven't even represented my country yet, and to do it in the Euros, at home soil, is just a dream.
