Sophie's POV

After a long week, it's finally game day against Scotland. We're playing in Old Trafford today and it'd amazing. All the girls are really raring to go and so am I.

It's currently 6:30am and we need to be down for breakfast at 7. Beth is still sleeping so I better wake her up, I don't want Daan to kill me. I walk over to her bed and start tapping her shoulder.

Sophie: Wake up Bethany Mead.

Beth: I'm up I'm up.

Sophie: You have 20 minutes to get ready. We're meeting Anna, Jord and Leah at 6:50.

Beth: Okay thank you Soph. Morning by the way.

Sophie: Good Morning.

Beth and I got changed and made our way to the canteen where Leah, Jord and Anna was waiting. We all decided to meet early so we can have a little catch up before everyone else comes.

Leah: GOOD MORNING GIRLS

Beth: Hush, it's so early. But morning captain.

Jordan: She's been up since 5 Beth, she's full of energy.

Sophie: How would you know that Miss Nobbs?

Jordan: Uh, Anna told me.

Anna: Stop lying Jord.

Jordan: Fine, I went into the room early hours this morning to check on Leah. She asked me too.

Leah: You wanted to, don't lie.

Sophie: That's cute.

After a little chat, we all sat down by the table. At thus time, all the other members of the squad was down here and was heading for breakfast. I still haven't said morning to Anna, imma do it in private so we can cuddle and stuff. I made my way up to the breakfast bar to grab myself some scrambled egg and toast with a cup of tea for my drink.

Anna: Morning sleepy head.

Sophie: I was going to say morning, but I wanted it to be outside of the team environment. But morning my love.

Anna: How about after breakfast, we'll go up to my room.

Sophie: I'd love that.

We both grabbed our breakfast and headed to the table. The girls welcomed us back and we all ate. After about 20 minutes, Sarina came in with a child. The child looked lost and confused.

Sarina: Morning everyone. This is Conrad. He's a orphan and he's looking for a home. We've welcomed him here to be mascot for the entire tournament so you're welcome to spend all the time with him when you can. Although, there'll be days where specific people will take care of him. So, who'd like to be his guardians today?

Anna: Me and Soph will! We'll take him.

Sarina: Great. Come and meet him then girls. That means everyone now please.

Anna and I looked at each other, smiled and ran straight over to Conrad. We all made a fuss of him and he acted like he hasn't been fussed like this before. He's so cute. The girls asked him so many questions and to be fair to him, he answered them all. After a while, it was time for Anna and i to head upstairs. It was nap time for everyone. Sarina said it was okay that Anna and i to be in the same room for this.

The three of us made our way to Anna's room. Hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder, we claimed every one of those stairs. Conrad couldn't stop smiling and I love that. We made it to the room and Conrad ran straight for the big bed. I put his suitcase to the side and joined him by jumping on the bed.
