The Results

We finally arrived at the hospital, i was dreading what the X-ray would show. They took me to a private room to give me a check up before taking me into get an X-ray on my ankle. They gave me the X-ray and then took me back into the room i was staying in. I checked my phone to check what the final score was with the game, we had won 5-0 which made me happy. Not long after the doctors came in to give me the results which they said that there was a tear in my achillies in my ankle so i would not be able to play football for at least 4-6 months and i needed to have surgery. They told me that surgery was happening tomorrow morning, i am scared but also nervous for it.

As i was watching TV there was a slight knock on the door and i said for the person to "come in" and so they did. To my surprise it was actually a few of the Arsenal girls. Lotte, Anna, Jordan, Leah, Caitlin, Lia and Beth all were stood around my bed, i felt overwhelmed by their support.

Leah: We just wanted to come and check up on you to see if you needed anything, how are you feeling?

Sophie: I'm not feeling too good right now, the doctor said i'd be out for at least 4-6 months and i need surgery in the morning.

Jordan: Hey hey now, it's going to be okay. I know what your feeling right now, you're a strong person who'll get through this. Do you need anything to eat?

Sophie: Thank you Jord, it means a lot. I'm not really hungry right now but i do want some water or a bottle of 7Up so if you could get some for me please.

Caitlin: Yeah we'll grab you the two options. The girls and i will all go so you can have some rest.

Sophie: Thank you girls. Could one of you possibly stay please.

They all went into conversation and they all agreed for Anna to stay with me. They knew what they were doing. They all left and Anna just came closer to the bed and i asked her to come closer and sit down. I still really like her and although what she said hurt, i think it's time to talk about it and forgive her.

Anna: Hey, do you want me to do anything right now to help you?

Sophie - Can we just talk about what happened on that first day please, just to clear the air between us?

Anna: Yeah we can. Look, i'm sorry. I didn't mean what i said, i was scared and intimidated by you during training. I know that doesn't give me the right to say what i said but i just hope you can forgive me.

Sophie: You could've just spoke to my face instead of talking about me behind my back. But i do forgive you. Can i tell you something?

Anna: Yeah of course you can, i'm all ears.

And before i could tell her what i wanted to say, all the other girls returned. Anna stood up and went back to stand next to Lotte. Not long after they came back it was time for them to leave because i needed to have some sleep before surgery tomorrow. We said
our goodbyes and shortly after i fell asleep. It's a big day for me tomorrow...
