"What are you?" Grace demanded as she stood in front of her sister protectively causing Stefan to hesitate as he stayed silent for a moment before a small sigh escaped his lips looking at the twins with a knowingly expression and stated, " you know"
Elena narrowed her eyes at Stefan with a fearful look on her face clutching onto her sisters hand as she shook her head and replied, " No, we don't" Stefan rolled his eyes letting out a scoff as he stared at the twins and commented, " Yes, you do, or you both wouldn't be here"
"It's not possible, it can't be" Grace muttered with a shake of her head as Elena stayed quiet not being able to form any words seeing as everything she thought she knew about felt to be a lie as he isn't the person that she pictured to be.
Stefan took a tentative step towards the girls only for Grace to push her sister behind her backing away from the vampire, " everything you know and every belief that you have is about to change. Are you ready for that?" He questioned raising his eyebrows at Elena and Grace.
"What are you?" Grace demanded once again narrowing her eyes wearily at the youngest Salvatore who let out a sigh and revealed, " I'm a vampire" Grace and Elena shared a look before staring at the vampire nervously and fearfully as the brunette started pulling her sister with her and spoke, " we shouldn't have come"
"No, please" Stefan pleaded with a saddened expression on his face as he took a step forward towards the twins, " please, please" the two girls immediately shook their heads as Grace took her sisters hand running past Stefan and towards her car only for the youngest Salvatore to appear in front of them causing them to stop in their tracks.
Grace eyes widened as she glanced to where he was standing before, to where he had suddenly appeared causing the oldest twin sister to ask, " how did you do that?" Stefan looked between the twins but his eyes lingered on Grace as he begged, " please don't be afraid of me"
"Let us go" Elena pleaded dragging her sister with her as she was practically shaking in fear as Stefan grabbed ahold of her trying to calm her down as he explained, " No, Elena, Grace, there's things you have to know and understand"
Elena shook her head as she fought against him pushing him away before the two girls ran towards Grace's car as they quickly got in before the red headed girl speeded away from the Salvatore boarding house and drove towards their house.
As soon as Grace pulled up at the Gilbert's, they both climbed out of the car and rushed inside the house. The red headed girl ran up the stairs and into her bedroom where she shut the door and began pacing back and forth, running her hand through her hair trying to process and understand everything that's happened.
"Grace" Stefan spoke from behind her causing her to spin around letting out a shaky breathe as she ran for the door but before she could open the door Stefan stopped her slamming his hand on the door, " I would never hurt you. You're safe with me"
