After leaving Caroline's house, the newly turned vampire had forced Grace to come with her and Stefan to the woods where the youngest Salvatore was trying to teach Caroline to control her bloodlust especially for when she's around humans and Grace was just here to support her best friend and be there for her like she promised she would be, "So what I do when I see the rabbit"
"Chase it, catch it, feed on it" Stefan explained casually with a shrug of his shoulders causing Caroline to scrunch her face up in disgust as she looked between Grace and Stefan and questioned, "Isn't killing cute defenseless animals the first step of becoming a serial killer" Grace raised her eyebrows nudging Caroline slightly who sent her an confused look as Stefan replied. " well, you sort of skipped the serial killer and went straight to vampire. Hey, Caroline, if you're not serious about this, you should tell me"
Caroline groaned as she threw her head back letting out a heavy sigh and exclaimed, " No, I am. Look, I swear that I am, okay? But it's just...I haven't been in the sun for days. And everyone's at the swimming hole, and Matt is there. And he finally told me he loved me, but I've been blowing him off and now you want me to eat bunnies, and I'm kind of freaking out, okay?" Grace smiled as she twisted the necklace around her neck as she knew that everyone was going to be at the swimming hole as Tyler had invited her and Grace had told him that she'll be there later on as she wanted to help Caroline first with her urges.
Caroline placed her hands on her hips narrowing her eyes at both Grace and Stefan who was laughing at the blondes antics, " and now you're both laughing at me. Great" Stefan stopped laughing but he still had an amused smile on his lips shaking his head and informed the blonde vampire, " No, No, I'm not laughing. None of this is funny, trust me. It's just that..." he trailed off trying to find the right words to say when Caroline cut him off glaring at him and snapped, " what?"
"When someone becomes a vampire, all of their natural behaviours get sort of, uh, uh, amplified" Stefan informed as he looked between the two girls causing Grace to share a look with Caroline before she tilted her head to the side not knowing what he was talking about and curiously questioned, " what do you mean?" Stefan stayed silent for a moment trying to figure out the best way to explain it, " I mean, uh, as a human, I cared deeply for people and how they felt. Uh, If they were hurting, I felt their pain and I felt guilty if I was the one who caused it. And, uh, as a vampire, all of that got... magnified"
Caroline nodded her head taking in his words as she had an offended look on her face and stated, "So you're saying that now I'm basically an insecure, neurotic control freak on crack?" Stefan smiled trying to hide his laughter as he trailed off, " Well, I wasn't gonna say it like that, but..." Grace shook her head pushing him softly causing him to let out a laugh which made Caroline raise her brows as she looked between the two of them in interest, "Hey, listen, let's hunt okay? And then after that we'll go to the swimming hole"
