It had been an entire week since Grace Gilbert had been in Mystic Falls as she had been in Washington with Nik. In that week, the red headed girl had kept mostly to herself and was out of the loop what had been happening since she was gone. The only reason why she was driving past the ' Welcome to Mystic Falls' sign is because Elena had called her and told her everything that had happened in the past week.
Damon had killed Mason Lockwood out of paranoia due to the fact that the werewolf was in some kind of messed up relationship with Katherine and that were after some kind of moonstone as Mason was under the impression that this stone would be the thing to save him from turning into a wolf every full moon but it couldn't be far from the truth as Katherine was hiding the real reason on why she needed the moonstone in the first place.
Even since Kathrine arrived to town all that she wanted was to split Elena and Stefan up and terrorize everyone that the human doppelgänger chose not to listen and continue her relationship with the youngest Salvatore, she compels Jenna to stab herself in the stomach with a kitchen knife. Jenna, was the only family that Grace, Elena and Jeremy had seeing as everyone else had either died on them or left.
Grace became revengeful after what she had made her aunt do and wanted to get rid of Kathrine just as much as the rest of her friends which why is why she left Nik in Washington early that morning and after Damon had been texting her needing her help which is why she was made her way to the Salvatore boarding house pulling up beside Damon's car.
The youngest Gilbert twin let out a small sigh as she climbed out of the car closing the door behind her as she walked forward entering the boarding house, " Damon, I'm here! I got your brazilian voicemails on the way back to town" she let out an annoyed sigh as all she wanted was to go home and check on Jenna but Damon apparently needed her presence here something to do with protecting her sister.
Bonnie Bennett was trailing somewhat behind her as the witch didn't trust either one of the Salvatore's not like Grace didn't blame her after everything she had been through because of the two vampires and the only reason she is here is protect the people that she cares so that nobody else will die. At the sound of her best friends voice, Caroline instantly jumped of the couch she was sat on walking towards the red headed girl as she hasn't seen her in a while, sure they spoke on the phone all the time but it wasn't the same," you guys made it" the newly turned vampire smiled brightly as she pulled her two friends into a hug causing the three of them to smile.
" I got Stefan's message" Bonnie informed as Grace nodded her head in confirmation, having received the same message as Bonnie but it was from Damon. As if on cue, Stefan Salvatore suddenly entered the foyer smiling at the two girls who had just arrived, " Hey, you brought the grimoire" Stefan commented as he spotted the book that Bonnie was holding tightly in her hands, " Thank you" he spoke sincerely with a kind smile on his face, Bonnie offered him a weak smile in return as Grace trailed her eyes around the parlour.
