Prologue

You took the black baseball bat that was once owned by someone special to you. You had it rested on your shoulders while you had your cursed tool, your old white softball bat, dragged on the street full of blood from the people you weren't able to save.

You were walking alone in the street of the city trying to look for one of your comrades. It was dark and the city was a mess to the point where it looks apocalyptic. To your surprise, after a few minutes of wandering around the city, you saw your friend running towards you.

"Y/N!" She greeted you with a smile but it was clear in her eyes that she just cried. "Have you seen ****? I was with *** earlier but ** said I have to go first before *** since ** said this place is safe. **** also said he saw you!" Your ears weren't in the best condition, all you could hear in between your friend's words were high-pitched noises.

That curse did some damage to me, huh?

"So, was ** able to meet with you?" Your friend kept on asking. "And Y/N, why are your **** bleeding? Is that ****** baseball bat your holding? So you did meet up with ***! Where is **? Is **** safe? Y/N? Are you okay?"

There was also a huge crowd with her. When you were about to get closer to her you were glad that you could see someone you know above a building. It was Inumaki holding a loudspeaker. You were about to shout his name out but someone came running around which caught your attention.

Aside from that, there was also a weird-looking monster with ten sacred treasures on the wheel of its back.

A shikigami? 

"There are also ***** people who were injured! **** here, someone was treating other's wounds! Let's see if they could heal your wounds." Your friend kept on talking not minding why you were not answering her.

The person you saw was wearing the same uniform as Yuuji, he had black marks on his face and also had pink hair that was pushed back. He was running extremely fast to the point where any normal human being wouldn't catch up with what it was.

"Yuuji?" You asked yourself. 

Your friend heard you. "Who's that, Y/N?"

When you could finally see who it was, your eyes widened. 

"Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine."

Before you could even react to get your friend away from that place, a huge explosion destroyed a 140-radius of the city of Shibuya.

Every debris and steel wire from the buildings were flying all over along with the blood and remains of the victims. Thanks to your cursed technique, each particle that was about to hit you turned into dust unable to leave a scratch on you. The surrounding was also hot which was too hard to breathe in.

You were able to carry your friend away from the domain. However, she was now badly injured and her blood is already coming out from her mouth. Because you saw the state of her body, you were too distracted by it leaving you unintentionally turning off your cursed technique. 

Mahogara's regeneration has now been completed. Sukuna then strikes another attack on Megumi's strongest shikigami. The attack implicated you which resulted in you burning your arm and also destroyed your only cursed tool.
