"Kamo-san, are you guys trying to kill Itadori?"

"What if I told you that you're right?" Kamo blocks Megumi's attack.

"Then you guys failed. No way would he would die in this short amount of time."

"We have no reason to kill him." Kamo then stepped back.

"Sure you do. At least your superiors and the Gosan have."

Meanwhile, you and Yuuji are fighting Todo. Yuuji does an uppercut on Todo but the buffed guy was able to block it with his arms. You followed a kick on Todo but he was able to jump away from it. Your choreography with Yuuji was good, after all, you've trained together with Gojo Satoru. However, despite all of your training, you were still having a hard time landing a good strike on Todo.

Todo was about to elbow you but Yuuji was able to block him, resulting in Yuuji getting hit on his abdomen. You took the chance to swing on the branches of the trees filling up cursed energy on your feet and legs. Yuuji joined in after receiving a hit, then the two of you kicked Todo's face together.

'What wonderful toughness! They're also proactively using the terrain.' Todo stood up from the ground. 'Huh? They're both gone?' Todo panicked when he saw that the two of you were nowhere to find.

You and Yuuji punched the back of his head after jumping from behind.

'They're also fast in preparing their next moves! Yuuji's tremendous power and Y/N's flexibility fit together!'

Yuuji faces him first as you ran towards Todo's back to stop him. You wrapped your arm around his neck allowing you to consume his cursed energy.

'And even more extraordinary...' Yuuji punches the third year's face. 'Their perfect steps... it's as if they're dancing! What a perfect duo!'

"He's all yours now. My time's over here." You told Yuuji as you ran away to go to Maki's destination, not waiting for any response from Yuuji.

"Oh, but we were just having fun," Todo said as he looked back at your humps jiggling as you dash.

While Todo was respectfully checking on you, Yuuji lands a hit on his face. "What are you looking at?" Yuuji calmly said but his eyes were screaming in rage. 'Seriously, why the hell he has to leer at her?!'

Todo then backs off from Yuuji to maintain distance after receiving his jab. "I see..." Todo smirked finally putting the pieces together why Yuuji reacted that way. Todo then continues to evaluate Yuuji's power.

'He has more raw power in that tiny body than me. That's why his blows can hit me with a little curse power... That's why it was hard to read his moves by the flow of cursed power! But this cursed power that comes in a time lag... only this... only this is...'

"WROOOOOONG!" Todo's deep voice echoed through the mountains.

Tsk. You didn't mind why Todo was shouting as you continued to find Maki.

"Was that Todo?" Maki's short chitchat with Miwa paused because of a loud echo.

"Seems so."

"I think I understand why you guys couldn't kill Yuuji." Maki tried to have a conversation with Miwa. 'Y/N's there after all.'

"So, why did you get away from Noritoshi?" Trying to hide from fellow shamans?" Maki placed her hand on her hips, waiting for an answer.

"... Sorry about Itadori-kun. It's just an excuse but I'm not like everyone. But even so, I have the intention to yield the victory at the festival. You know that a shaman can only get a pay raise via recommendation, right? Shamans with no high connections know a lot about the festival. Students who stand out here are given more chances at getting a raise and I want to be able to make money and be independent as fast as possible."
