After graduating middle school, you have been having a hard time taking care of yourself. Your aunt has been having a hard time with paying the bills lately since your cousins are now going to college.

"I sincerely apologize, (Y/N). It seems that you have to live all yourself now. Your cousins just got accepted from their university and it seems their lifestyle is going to be pricier than I thought it would be. But don't worry! I recently moved your parents and mother's grandparents' dowry to your bank account that I just registered." Your aunt explained.

You don't seem to mind living alone by yourself since you've been trained to be independent. You helped your aunt with the chores and she even taught you basic life skills like any adult should know. Instead of worrying like any fifteen-year-old, you're kind of excited.

"So have you planned which school you're going to attend?" Your aunt asked while you're having your dinner.

"School shouldn't be a problem. What's concerning is where you should be living." Your uncle said.

Your cousins are not around anymore since they just moved out last month. You have already thought about moving out next week, too. You wanted to go somewhere rural but not too far from Kawasaki City. There's also a public school near the apartment you want to move to so it wasn't that much of a hassle in finding a new place.

"Yes. I would like to move out next week and I have already packed some of my stuff," You answered.

"Well, that's great!" Your aunt cheered. "I'm so glad I raised you into a responsible child."

Responsible... child... You thought.

"Oi, Y/N." One of your classmates called you. "I only asked for you to paint the board for the school festival. I didn't ask you to already do the whole preparation."

"You know L/N likes to be extra when it comes to projects, Miya-chan."

"I know but like seriously, Y/N. I appreciate your contribution but you don't have to do all the hard work. It would be unfair. You tend to do the extra work."

"I don't mind actually." You smiled at Miya. "After painting the board, I waited for some of our groupmates to come over to our classroom after class since they said they'd be back after their practice, but it was already 5 in the afternoon so I decided to do it myself or else you guys would stress over it this morning."

"Aww Y/N!!" Miya hugged you. "If only I could have a sister like you!" 

You just stood there with a blase face and pat her back.

You remembered a friend of yours named Miya that liked to call you sister because of how mature you act. Even your teachers call you like that because you seem to be stoic and adult-like at a young age.
