Chapter 20

Exchange Festival

You then came back to the dormitory to be with your friends. Outside the building, there was Yuuji who was about to enter the dorm, too.

"Oh, Y/N! Sensei!" Yuuji greeted as he waved his hands."I've been looking around for both of you. Lunch is ready!"

"Why's that guy here?" You asked Gojo when the three of you saw Todo inside the living room eating some cup noodles and watching TV. 

You suddenly remembered what the Kyoto folks were plotting about Yuuji.

Right, when should I tell them about that?

Gojo just gave you a shrug.

"Sensei, did you know that OPP actually stands for something?"

"Huh? It does?"

"Ocean Pacific Peace!"

"Oh L/N, where have you been?" Nobara stood up from her seat when she saw that you've already come back with Gojo and Yuuji.

"I got lost." You simply answered like it was nothing then you sat in your seat to eat lunch with them.

Gojo didn't join eating lunch since he already ate - well, it's not like your friends are inviting him in the first place. After a few minutes of annoying all of his students, he finally left to go back to the auditory room where all of the teachers are. Lunch break finished early since you had to discuss the battle formation with them. 

The meeting was the perfect time for you to tell them about what you heard from Kyoto. Before telling them, you suggested talking somewhere private.

"Eh? Isn't our dorm private enough?" Maki questioned.

You just simply pointed at Todo who's still watching TV about Takada, not minding everyone's presence.

Maki's left eye twitched because of what she just saw. "When did he even arrive here?!"

"Let's just go near the field." Panda suggested.

Your meeting with them ended quickly. All of you were able to adjust to the new battle formation for later. Some of you thought you're at an advantage because it's now a 7v6 but Maki reminded that the Kyoto students are still strong since they have Todo.

When it was time for all of you to get ready for the exchange, Nobara and Panda pulled Yuuji to talk about something while you, Maki, Toge, and Megumi are walking slowly ahead towards the field.

"Itadori, what do you feel about Maki?" Nobara asked.

"Huh?" Yuuji was surprised by Nobara's question. 'HUHHH?? She'll be pissed no matter what I say!'

"Uhm... she's... a very... nice lady..." He looked down, afraid Nobara might smack him.

"What? I'm talking about as a jujutsu sorcerer."

"Oh, that's what you mean." Yuuji sighed from relief.

The three of them then peeked at the corner to observe Maki. 

"To be honest, I'm still not familiar with jujutsu and all that. She's a tough fighter. With just her poise and the way she walks, you can tell she's something else!"

"How about L/N?"

Yuuji didn't expect that all making his cheeks heat up. "Uhm, as a sorcerer, right?"

"Duh."

"Uhh - Since I've trained with her for a month, I could say she's a fast learner. She's also very responsible, mature, smart, kind, and pretty, and love - "
