"Happy Birthday!"

I rubbed my eyes as they opened slowly, to see people around me. The boys and Lilly sat all around my bed with a cake in Harry's hands.

I sat up, resting myself on my elbows.

"You guys didn't have-"

"Don't be silly Taylor! You're nineteen!" Louis yelled gently hitting my arm.

"Well! Make a wish!" Lilly yelled jumping.

I looked around me before closing my eyes and blowing out the small candles on the cake. Everyone yelled, making me open my eyes. Smiles surrounded me.

"Okay thanks and all but can you get out so I can get ready."

"Fine. Just wear something nice. We're taking you out," Louis said walking towards the door.

"Where?"

"Anywhere you like," he said just before closing the door behind him.

I quickly took a short shower, did my hair and make-up and changed. I put on an old t-shirt and some tight jeans. I opened the door, having many people turn and look at me.

"I said something nice!" Louis yelled.

"It's my birthday. I am not getting all dressed up."

They all laughed as Niall placed his hand out, gesturing for me to take it. Once our hands were entwined we all began to walk down the hallway towards the elevator.

"You ready princess?" Niall asked smiling at me.

I nodded slightly, giving off a big smile.

We arrived at a beach soon after a long car ride. We all ran towards the sand, kicking our shoes off and digging our toes in the sand. Once I had found a good spot, I placed my bag onto the sand and sat down. The boys and Lilly were playing with the waves. The beach was deserted except for the few of us.

My focus changed to the beach. The sun was just rising, glimmering on the sea surface. The ocean giving off small waves, making a sweet sound as they hit the shore. The warm sand pushing between my toes and fingers.

The beach brought back memories after memories. I would go to the beach ever so often, just to sit in the warm sand and enjoy the view it gave. My trips to the beach stopped once Lilly was born and my parents had split. It was nice to visit it again, and with the ones I love.

I was deep in thought when I was interrupted by someone's voice. I turned my head to see Niall bending down to sit next to me. His fingers found mine and they entwined with each other. A smile was on his face as he sat down.

"Taylor..." he said in a tone that grabbed my attention.

"What is it Niall?"

"Taylor we have been together for a while now right?" he said looking down at the sand.

"Yes about a year or so I think. I don't really know when we got together. They were so many times I thought we did."

A small chuckle left his lips as he looked back at the ocean.

"I have enjoyed every minute of however long it has been. Even when things got tough. When there was a bump in the road I would see your smile and everything would be better. It was tough when you were gone though. My heart hurt knowing I wouldn't see you the next day. I thought writing those letters would help, yet they just made me miss you more. I love you Taylor and I want you to know that."

"I love you too Niall," I said smiling.

He smiled at me before turning his attention back to the ocean to continue.

"I understand there will still be some ups and downs in this. I really do. At least Harry and Zayn are out of the way now. All that's left are a few things. We need a new contract, the whole you and Harry dating rumors need to go away, and a few other things."

Niall looked over at me, joy in his ocean blue eyes.

"Taylor I don't know where I would without you right now. I could possibly be Sarah. I could be how I was before we met. I do not want to go back to that. You have changed our lives Taylor. Especially mine and I want to thank you for that," he said kissing the back of my small hand. "You're my other half."

A smile spread on my face as I locked eyes with his. My brown with his blue. My stomach turned as tears filled his eyes.

"You're my whole," I finally spoke.

"Taylor there are two questions in my mind I need to ask," Niall said standing up.

"What is it?" I asked standing up as well.

He took my hand in his as he kissed the back gently.

"Are you enjoying your birthday princess?" he asked kissing the back of my hand again.

"Yes I am," I responded smiling. "What is your other question?"

He smiled wider, digging in his pocket. Once he had found what he was searching for, he bent down. My mind started running wild, thoughts after another. Was this really happening? He bent with one knee on the floor and the other up. He slowly opened a small red box to reveal a small silver diamond ring.

"Will you marry me Taylor?"
