░▒▓█ Ogai Nakahara's crush
While Chuuya was busy dealing with another child's parent, his son had walked himself into his classroom. Taking his usual seat, he had opened the desk to find letters upon letters of confessions. He was delighted by the flattery, looking through the writing he realised that she didn't write him a confession.
Sato Yumiko.
She was one of his closest friends and in his own words. She took his breath away. It was just so unfortunate that she just didn't understand his feelings for her. They would be graduating that year and moving to two different high schools and if he didn't man up nothing would ever happen between the two.
"Oi!" He heard her voice call with a playful tone to it, she jumped up and sat on his desk, crossing her legs. She was much more free than most girls in his class, she was laid back and peaked his interest more and more. "Nakahara-sama!" She teased, taking his glasses and putting them on her face. "How was dealing with the infamous M/N?" She asked.
"Tiring!" He groaned, shivering at the memories he had been forced to make with his older sister, who was perfect in the eyes of everyone else but pure hell in his. "Also, Catherine was asking about you." He changed the subject to his much more loveable younger sister.
"I love that little ball of gorgeous red hair!" Yumiko's eyes perked up at the idea of his younger sister missing her. "She's the best!" She chimed. "Can we go to her class?" The shorter girl whined, jumping off his desk and pulling him by his arm to go to his younger sister's class with her.
"Really?" He sighed. "I don't like a lot of the girls in her class...they look at me like I'm a piece of fresh meat." He shuddered at the recollection from picking up his sister from her primary school. Not a fun time for him. He would often get asked for his number. The once thirteen year old boy had to reject a bunch of eleven year olds.
"Aw poor baby!" Yumiko sarcastically chimed.
"Hey Yumiko..." He trailed off, blinking a few times to try and see where he was going. "Can I have my glasses back?" He paused. "I can't see without them." He laughed. She blushed from the embarrassment and took them off her head, putting them back onto his face. "Thank you." He rolled his eyes and ruffled her hair.
"Onward steed!" Yumiko turned 180 degrees and pointed forward, a small skip in her step as she walked towards class 1-5. In other words, the smart class. They eventually made it to her class, Yumiko had decided to take the long way. "Catherine!" She yelled, engulfing the girl into a bone crushing hug.
"Oi little shit!" Ogai lightly pushed Yumiko off his sister and then hugged Catherine. "You know this morning when dad completely fucked up that guy?" He asked, Catherine nodded. He let go of her and then crouched down to her height. "Next time they say anything, you slap the shit out of them and then call me, I'll fuck em' up for ya." He proclaimed in his usual vulgar tone.
Whenever he spoke to his younger sister he didn't want to seem soft, he wanted to appear strong and capable. He wanted her to feel safe, so he would speak like his dad. He knew that Catherine loved both of her parents equally but because Chuuya happened to have ginger hair as well, she felt like she could talk to him about that particular aspect of her life.
Her mother didn't understand what it was like to be mad fun of for having red hair, for being told you have no soul because a particular colour you couldn't choose. For being told you should have been burned at the stake like her ancestors for being a witch. Which was ironic since her mother's side was far more foreign in comparison to her fathers, and yet she got her hair from her father.
Catherine only nodded in response, she then walked over to Yumiko and started talking, Ogai noticed from the side of his vision that Yumiko had a slight tint on her cheeks while talking to Catherine. 'Please Lord, tell me that doesn't mean what I think it does, don't go fucking me up.' He pleaded in his head.
He loved his sister but he would die inside if Yumiko liked her, he wanted Yumiko so badly he would cry more than he did that morning when he looked up Audrey Hepburn to find out she was dead. That says it all, he just wanted her to be his. Which was a hard dream to succeed, which he was having a panic attack he did notice the whisper of girls in her class.
"Look who it is!" A girlish voice whispered from in front of him.
"He's so cute." Someone murmured. "Why is he here for her?" He looked towards where the voice was coming from and saw a brown haired girl with brilliant gold eyes, he glared at her and walked towards her.
"What did you just say?" He snarled towards the smaller girl, she only blushed and shook her head.
"N-nothing!" The girl turned her head and blushed profusely more.
"For your information, that's my sister, so if you dare say anything about her again..." His sentence trailed off switching his gaze towards his sister and Yumiko.
