The village of Vivida was a plain and quiet town. The men toiled for their village and family, the women took care of the young ones at home. It was a self sustaining town.

Houses were all hand built by the town carpenter. They filled their homes with tables, chairs and tiny candles, enough to light the whole room. It also had windows to allow the sunlight to seep within the homely cabin in morning. Their kitchens were filled with firewood, harvested ingredients along with pots and pans.

It was an honest and simple way of life but it was enough to survive in this fantasy filled world.

Today was a particularly special day. The people were out and about, walking to and fro, buying new clothes for their families. It was rowdy and crowded.

After all, on the 23rd of May ,the governor, Dion and his beloved wife, Star finally had their firstborn child, a lovely girl.

Villagers were excited for the upcoming celebration that was to be held at night ,so ample preparations had to be made.

"The preparations for the event are done sir." ,Hoki informed his master. He was a servant of the Noe household.

"Good, ensure that the event will commence without any issues.",commanded The young governor, Dion Noe.

"Yes sir!"

Dion wanted the celebration to be special, a once in a lifetime experience. To make that true, he had prepared for months in advance. Hiring countless experts for this very day.

Very quickly, the time had come, Dion straightened his clothes once again to give himself a smart demeanor. He was prepared for his speech.

"Dear, the people are waiting, are you ready?" Star worriedly asked.

"Yes, i'm ready, worst comes to worst, I'll just have to wing it.", Dion chuckled.

"Your methods are still carefree as usual.", Star laughed while shaking her head.

"Just promise me, you won't push yourself too hard, okay?"

"I promise."

The curtains raised and Dion finally stood on stage.

"People of Vivida, I, thank you today for joining me on this wonderful day, I have only been a governor for a few years, I may not be the most competent , I may not be too powerful, but I will ensure to rule this town in the best possible manner, I pray that God's blessing be upon us on this day, the day my daughter stepped foot into this world, by all means, let the party start!"

Ear shattering, cheers and screams echoed, filled with the excitement of what was to come.

Soon, food was served. There was a multitude of desserts and many varieties of food. The smell alone could make one drool.

Dion decided to go around and greet people. As he strolled, his gaze met with a man, and his smile brightened.

"Lloyd, my old friend! It's truly good to see you again.", Dion excitedly greeted.

"It really has been a long time, hasn't it? If I didn't attend this party of yours, I might already be one foot into the grave when we meet again!",Lloyd joked, as they both laughed.

"That said, how have you been as of late?"

"Ahh, I've been as usual you see, there really isn't much an old man my age can do."

"I see, well I'm glad to see you're still doing well enough to crack some bad jokes."

"Unfortunately, I'll have to leave for now, old friend, I have an entire party to greet."
