Instead of directing you to his office, he led you to yours. You didn't question his intentions as he directed you sit on your chair whilst he stood beside you.
Somehow through the silence of both your communications, you were still able to understand eachother. When he turned on your computer and positioned your telephone towards you, you knew exactly what he was going to teach you next.

.Tom was very good at explaining. Always had different ways to make people understand and easily knows which explanations fit a particular person. He wasn't patient though and he would often get quite agitated at you if you forgot or missed something. You couldn't tell if being around him was good for you or not as he confused your emotions alot. He doesn't express anything yet manages to anger you from within. It's the way he shares conversations and how he expresses his words. Its in the way he talks that let's you know how he's feeling because that face just can't seem to budge with anything but a glare and a frown.
Aside from his appearance, his scent was something you actually found pleasing. It always drifted around you and you can't help yourself but enjoy it. He really did smell good, it's just a shame that his personality did not match it.
You wondered if you could change that. Change him.
So you created a small mental goal: You'll try enough just to make a difference with him but if he can't see that or he'll still stay the same after you try, then you'll let it go. It might come with a cost but your willing to make a difference so why not.
Eventually he left you to do a few simple paperworks whilst he continues his usual. You wrote down the functions on your telephone right beside your computer so when you got a call, you'll be able to answer it properly until you wont need a second glance from the notes. He also taught you what to say and how to say it, but you already knew, being a CEO in your previous job, it was just that Tom has his own ways and it wasn't like yours. You and Harrison chatted a few times whilst you did the paper work as he was there for assistance if you needed it whilst you answer phone calls. It was Tom's idea to keep Harrison there with you ofcourse.
You enjoyed the paper work and what you had to do, but, you couldn't help that craving of being the leader everyone asked advice for and sharing wisdom around others as they looked up to you. It felt so empowering and it was such a mood booster for you.
Yea, you missed it.
You weren't a good boss because you knew and liked to tell people around but because your employees always learned something and they continue to improve their experiences and skills in the workplace because of you. You even got a few cards and small gifts from a few employees that favoured you when you had to leave. You appreciated it, but didn't really care about the gifts. Or maybe you just weren't used to people's affections and caring manor that it almost made you feel nothing.
Although you were quite satisfied for your current job position that you landed, it didn't quite fulfil your whole potential. However, it was too late to find another job that would fulfil your empty spot for being a leader, so you were still grateful to be in the place you were in now. You committed to this one, and you'd hate yourself if you let Tom down just like the other guy did. You felt a small spot of sympathy for him as he seemed upset and stressed from his situation but then you remembered, you knew absolutely nothing about this man. So naturally, all feelings were pushed aside from the fact that you didn't really know him. And because he won't let anyone know him.
The hours passed quicker than you expected and suddenly, you were back in Tom's office with the papers he asked you to do in your hands as you were getting prepared to leave at 5pm, as did everyone else.
