Dear warrior;

I've heard many a tale about you, the feathered warrior that claims the skies as his own.

And, I must say, your tale has got me dearly curious about you.

I've heard how you have slain the dragon without much trouble. I've heard how you once flew miles over the voidlands, propelling yourself using only your bow and arrow. I've heard how you have taken hundreds of lives.

I'm extremely curious about you, winged warrior.

If I may, I'd like to ask you to bless me with your presence, just for a moment?

Sincerely;
Kristin

Dear winged warrior;

I must admit, I didn't expect you to look like that.

You didn't respond to my previous letter, but I saw you in the market today. I knew it was you because nobody else has wings. At least, none as large as yours.

I must be honest, you do not look like a warrior at all. You look quite...average.

You walked beside a taller man with long pink hair. Is he a friend of yours? I've heard people call him Technoblade, but is that true? I'm not entirely sure.

I saw the dark sword that was strapped to your hip. What's the metal called again? Netherite? I thought it was a myth, but I suppose not.

I wonder how much blood that blade has spilled?

Sincerely yours;
Kristin

Dear Phil;

My, is it so wonderful to finally know your name! I still can't believe you actually spoke to me!

My, you're so nice! You're not the ruthless killer that those tales say that you are!

Or, at least, you do not appear to be...

I'm saddened that I must part with you so soon. It feels like our tale has just begun!

I will try to write to you, but it's no guarantee.

Regardless, I hope to see your face once more.

Love;
Kristin <3

Dear Kristin;

You haven't wrote in a while. I wonder how you're doing?

Just to give you a peace of mind, I have received all of your letters, and I've read each and every one over a million times, I swear.

I've just been too shy to respond. I do hope you forgive me for that.

I swear, I will fly around the world if I have to spend one more moment without you by my side.

I have a gift for you, once you return. I do hope you like it, it wasn't necessarily cheap...

Until I see you again, my love. <3

—Phil

Underneath the letter is two wedding rings, rusted and dusty over hundreds of years left unused.

It seems that the two never did meet again.

Angst, pog?

I felt that Kristin and Phil deserved a little bit of love (and angst just so happens to be my way of showing love). 💚

Also love songs just kept playing, so—

Also, it's set in the Middle Ages bc yeah. Just felt like I should say this bc;

1) They're writing letters
2) The weird way of writing

So yeah
