Madison groaned as she walked into work. After the scare, she had been taking it easy. She didn't want to risk anything had happening to her baby.

Madison saw Esmè walking over to her. She smirked. "Don't let mum see that love bite on your neck. She'll kill you," she said.

Esmè rolled her eyes. "Oh please. She can't say anything. She's done worse. And with Jacob," she said.

Madison smirked. She looked at her. "Just play it cool. You don't want to end up in the same precious situation as me."

"It's called condoms sister. And trust me, Iain pulls out."

"I don't need to know."

Cal smiled as Madison walked towards him. She kissed him. "Hey. So I've been thinking. Maybe we could get a pizza tonight and watch Netflix in bed? Maybe even add in the chill part?" She asked.

Cal laughed and nodded. "Sounds good. But are you sure you're able to?"

Madison nodded. "Yes. I just have to take it easy at work. Everything will be fine with me and you. I promise."

"Okay. I finish at five. So I'll wait for you, we'll go pick up a pizza and then head back to mine," he told her.

"Sounds like a plan. Can't wait. Oh! Order me a Ben and Jerry's too? Little one wants this."

"Deal."

Connie saw her daughter and sighed. She looked at her daughter. "Should you be here? After your scare?" She asked.

Madison rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm fine. It was just a false alarm. I'm fine and the baby is fine. I wanna work. Especially before the baby comes and I'm on maternity leave."

Connie nodded. "Take it easy. Especially since you're the one I have high hopes for. I want you to take over from me one day."

Madison sighed. "Mum. I don't want that job. I like what I do now. Helping people without the piles of paperwork that you have to do. That's not what I want."

Connie looked at her. "Is this what you want for the rest of your life? Cleaning up other people's sick?"

"No. I want to spend the rest of my life helping people who need it. I want to spend my life going home to my beautiful baby knowing that I did my damn best to save someone. Hoping that I save many lives. That's what I want to do," Madison said as she walked off.

Esmè walked over to Madison and grinned. "So. Rumour has it you gave Mum a piece of your mind? Fair dos."

Madison nodded. "She wanted me to take over from her. I don't want that. I just want to be a good mum to my baby."

Esmè grinned. "You'll be a good mum. I know you will."

Madison smiled. She looked up as Alicia walked towards her. "Can we talk?" She asked.

"What's up?"

Alicia sighed. "I don't know how to tell you this. But... it's Cal."

Madison frowned. "What do you mean? Is he okay?" She asked.

Alicia nodded. "He's fine. He just... we had sex. In the on call room. He told me he wanted me and it happened," she said.

Madison felt the colour drain from her cheeks. But was Alicia being truthful? Or was it a lie made up to split up her and Cal?
