Madison sighed as she woke in bed. She knew she missed Cal. But he had dumped her which made her annoyed. She knew how she had accused him of sleeping with Alicia.

Madison groaned as the nausea hit her. She stood up from her bed and made her way into the bathroom.

After she emptied the contents of her stomach, she left the bathroom and saw Esmè there. She smiled. "How are you?" She asked as she looked to her.

Esmè rolled her eyes. "Pregnant. And needing to pee. But Iain is in there. And he's taking forever," she said.

Madison sighed and smiled. "Cal was meant to meet me last night. He hasn't. And it's pissing me off. I know I messed up. And I accused him. But seriously. This is our baby."

Esmè smiled and nodded. She looked to her. "It's all going to be okay. Cal will come around. He knows you're having the baby together. And it will work out for you," she told her.

"I hope so. I didn't get myself pregnant. And I won't do it alone. I need help," Madison said.

"Talk to him Mads. It's all you can do."

Madison went into work. She saw Cal and sighed. She walked over to him. She smiled. "I thought you were meeting me last night? To talk about the baby."

Cal sighed. "I got called in. There was an emergency. I'm sorry."

Madison smiled. She looked to him. "I just wanted us to talk about the baby. I know I hurt you. But I miss you," she told him.

Cal looked to her. "Well maybe we can talk about us tonight. Let's go for dinner."

"I'd love that. Thanks."

"You're on. We've got this."

Madison went to see Esmè. She smiled as she looked to her. "Cal and I are finally talking. He got called into work last night. There was an emergency," she said.

Esmè frowned. She turned to her. "There wasn't an emergency. It was a quiet night. Iain was here till 2 and there was no emergency."

Madison frowned. She looked to her. "Why has he lied then? Where was he?"

Esmè shrugged and smiled. She took her hand. "I think you need to find out. I can check the logs. But there was no emergency here last night."

"Thanks Es."

Madison walked off. She had no idea why Cal was lying to her. She didn't know what he had done in that he had to lie to her.

Madison had checked the logs and she saw that there wasn't an emergency. She felt broken that Cal had lied to her.

Cal walked over to her and smiled. "Hey. Where do you wanna go for dinner?" He asked.

Madison smiled. "You tell me. You can surprise me if you want to," she said.

Cal nodded. He kissed the top of her head and walked off.

Madison felt tears slip down her cheeks. She didn't know what was going on with her and Cal. But she knew she had to find out the truth.

Later on that night, Madison saw Cal waiting outside for her. She walked over to him. She sighed. "So. I want to know. Why did you lie to me? Why did you say you were here when you weren't?"

Cal turned to her. But could he tell her the truth?
