Madison lay in bed with cal. They were having a lazy day. Madison knew it was what they wanted and knew that she didn't have the energy for work.

Madison sat in bed and smiled as cal walked onto the room as he handed her a cup and smiled as she took a sip of it

"it's nice, just us. It's not anything we are use to" Madison said as cal looked to her and chuckled as he wrapped an arm around her and smiled

"I miss this, just us and I know us is usually sex but I like this. I mean it's going to be so long and we're going to have a baby to look after and bring them up and teach right from wrong and it's scary" Madison said as cal smiled

"I know it is, but I know it will be okay. As we have each other and I know we can do this" cal said a he room a hold of her hand and smiled as they held a look

"and this baby, our baby is worth it all. Trust me" cal said as he leant in and kissed her

"I love you and I love our baby" Madison said as cal smirked into the kiss as she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him close as they kissed passionately.

Madison groaned as the sound of their pagers went off and sighed "I knew it was too good to be true" Madison said

Madison got to work and sighed as she walked into the staffroom and saw Esmè as she started to change into her scrubs and sighed

"what happened to bring me in on my day off?" Madison asked as Esmè smiled

"RTC, as possible of four casualty's" Esmè said as Madison sighed

"are you okay?" Esmè asked as Madison nodded

"I am but I am tired, and I could of done with the rest. I'm pregnant after all" Madison said as Esmè looked to her and nodded

"and your a doctor and don't worry I'm sure your only needed for a few hours and you and cal can go back to bed" Esmè said smirking as Madison rolled her eyes

"get your head out of the gutter will you, nothing like that was happening. We were having a lazy day which me and this little one needed. I'm just tired, it's the job" Madison said as Esmè looked to her and rolled her eyes

"and the hormones and everything else. You don't need to worry. Go and be a kick ass doctor that you are and save some life's and then you and cal can go and do whatever you want" Esmè said as Madison looked to her and smiled. Madison knew she was being a moody cow but she knew she was annoyed

Madison smiled as she got into cals car and sat next to him. She smiled as she rested her head on his shoulder, he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close and smiled

"you look tired" cal said as Madison smiled

"I know, I really am but I'm okay" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"I know that things seem hard but it will be okay. We're having a baby and she's our little princess and I promise I am going to look after you both I promise" cal said as he leant in and kissed her unaware how someone was going to destroy their perfect family they were building together
