The Sun Pirates ship was bullied by the ocean's harsh waves, as they navigated through the storm. Jinbei took care of the ship's helm, steering through the dangerous weather, hoping to get through it. The Fishman based crew were going from island to island, hoping to make peace between their race and the human race, and they were on the way to the next island.

However, this storm would not let up. It was getting worse and among their trail a whirlpool was forming just a head of them. Hatchan came from the ship's bird's nest, and came running up the deck toward Jinbei to tell him the news. The eyes of the blue Fishman widened, this was bad news. A whirlpool was going to throw them off and he had little time to prepare. But, his pirate instincts kicked in and he told Hatchan to tell the others to prepare for a hell of a ride.

Running off, the squid like fishman followed his crew mate's orders and began telling his fellow brothers the same. As Jinbei began to turn the ship towards the current, his mind began fixate on the small human girl's being. He had completely forgotten about her and this whirlpool would surely be the worst case scenario for her. He doubts that she's a good swimmer, but he knows his captain, Fisher Tiger, would look after her; since the two are attached at the hip.

Once the ship was enveloped by the small, yet fast whirlpool, Jinbei tried his best to steer once inside of it. However, Lady Luck was not on his side. He lost control and the ship was smothered by the ferocious waves. It was less than an hour and the crew were knocked out in the water, you would've thought that since they were men of the sea; that they would be used to the water's extremities.

A soft, soothing voice could be heard, and the Sun Pirates were the ones to hear it. 'That voice. Can you all hear that?' Fisher Tiger asked his crew, after they've all regain consciousness, with Koala on his shoulders. The men nodded and continued to listen out for the voice, their minds no longer on their lost ship. Arlong pointed in a direction, indicating where he thinks it's coming from, and they all began to swim in that direction.

A mist began to form as they continued to swim in the same direction, they were getting closer though. The voice was getting louder the more they traveled to it. In the distance, they could see a silhouette of a woman sitting on a rock, along with a shadow of a big ship. It had to be theirs. 'Captain! I think that's our ship over there!' Jinbei pointed out, his eyes landing over on the woman for a split second.

Following after his captain, Jinbei along with his crew were now a few inches away from the singing woman. They could now see her features, however the fog created from the mist, covered her eyes. 'Hey! Did you lead us over here?' One of the Fishman asked the unknown woman, who had stopped singing. Her lip contorted into a smile, before she spoke. "I saw you guys face the whirlpool and I saved your ship" She began to sing again.

Jinbei swam closer to her, inches away from her rock. "Let us thank you!" He said and motioned for him to come closer. As he came closer to the rock, a chill ran up his already cold body. Something was wrong. The song she was singing became coherent, and he immediately wanted to get away from her, but she had quickly lunged forward and bit the side of his neck. "Jinbei!" Koala yelled as she watched the  women latch onto his body.

He wrestled her off his body and she disappeared under the water, however he wasn't letting her get off that easy. He swam after her, catching up to her instantly, and grabbed her by her mermaid like tail. She tried to fight back but he knocked his fist against her head, making her pass out. Holding her in his arms on the way back up to the surface, he finally saw what she looked like; and boy was she beautiful.

Back on the ship, the Fishman were distant between each other, all because of the Siren woman; who's name they learned is (Y/N). They rest of the crew did not want her on this ship, which made sense because she did try to kill them with a curse as well as trying to bite the hell out of Jinbei. But, the same man who had gotten bit, did not want her gone. He became infatuated with her.

After an argument with Arlong, Jinbei stormed off to the ships jail, where the Siren was held in. 'Will you let me go already? It stink in here and I have more men to catch' (Y/N) said when she saw Jinbei walk through the single door. He paced back and forth, contemplating his next decision before he walked up to the bars. "Run away with me!" She looked into his eyes and began laughing. She cackled like it was the funniest thing she's ever heard.

"I'm serious! Run away with me, I'll promise to protect you if they come after us" It's been three days since they had her aboard and during those days, Jinbei had came up with this plan to run away with the siren. All because he fell in love with her.

"No" Her tone changed and she looked down. She had enough of this fish's tomfoolery.

"Why not? Surely we could make thing work, we would be perfect on the sea together!" He hinted at a relationship with her, which she was not buying.

"Because I'll kill you!"
