CHAPTER THIRTY

Eyes squirting at the blinding light coming from the side where she is looking at, the girl who just wake up slowly open her eyes to adjust in the sunlight from the opened windows of the latter's room - speaking of the latter his arms is securely wrapped around her waist as his head hides in the crook of her neck to hide from the said source of light, he is fully awake but clearly doesn't want to be far away from his soulmate that's why he pretended to be asleep.

“Good morning, love-” the girl got startled and almost fall in the ground if it isn't his arms around her frame, his groggy morning voice sent shivers down the poor girl's spine his minty breath hitting her exposed neck didn't help at all while the said boy just chuckle at her behavior. Rolling her eyes in irritation she hit the now giggling fit boy in her injured torso playfully but harsh making his giggling turn into a pained groan.

“Dude it's already 1 in the afternoon so why call it morning you stupid asshole. You didn't made me sleep ever since we wake up 6 hours ago because of your loud snores, you literally have a good ass sleep when I'm here wide awake!” the older Chinese starts her casual morning ritual which is ranting about the smallest things that irritates her big time let's just thank her anger issues and poor emotion management at this moment.

Meigui's face flush red when the realization of their current position hits her - she is clearly on top of the latter with his arms around her waist and the fact that their faces is in a close distance didn't help at all to make her heart do a amazing flip. Stomach bursting with millions of butterflies that silenced her growling intestine she can't help but to stare at his lovely eyes that holds so much stars that twinkles twice brighter everytime they held a eye contact.

Renjun on the other hand can't keep the smirk tugging up in the corner of his lips at the sight of the older girl flushing red as a tomato on top of him sure thing he already seen her there on top of her whilst bouncing but the innocent and shy expression painted in her presentable face made his heartbeat goes faster at the tingling explosions in his chest that make him feel warm and light headed. That feeling is the reason why his cheeks are now slightly pink that is very evident in his skin tone.

“Huang?”

“Yes Zhong?”

“What are we? what's our status except from the fact that we're soulmates?” her question come out in a whisper as her eyes didn't leave his while scanning it for any hints of anything that can make her heart break yet she found none.

Her sudden question pops a big bubble inside of the boy's heart. What are they? what's the status? are they even friends or any sort of close acquaintance- he doesn't know the answer because he also asks himself to about their relationship aside from being two souls tied to each other without any given consent. And that certain question didn't fails to make his heart fall into pieces, it's all still part of his plan right? that's why it is clearly normal- but why is he feeling this way? guilty.

Mind starting to have a total meltdown his heart take advantage of it by taking over it - his heart wins over the raging thoughts going on inside of his corrupted head, his heart shuts and clears down any traces of the said plan he made way way way back then. And that certain victory of the organ he thought is his weakest link made her knees weak.

Renjun smashed his lips against hers lips making the girl caught of guard but the soulmate bond tugs her heart to beat again in a animalistic pace when it stopped beating once his lips get a touch with her. Soon Meigui give in his soft teasing touch of roaming his free hand in her back up and down while his pointer finger traces her spine causing shivers runs down on it his other hand grips securely yet softly on his waist.

Their lips moves in sync, like the motion of the ocean, swaying bodies of dancer on the rhythm and it fit like a missing puzzle piece- they feel the pull of connection radiating with love every time they pull away from the kiss but reconnect again due to the feeling of emptiness once they're lips is disconnected. Everything feels like their first ever kiss in the girl's office room after Mark and Renjun's fight because of her beautiful self.

A moan slips off her lips when Renjun nibble in her lower lips causally bitting it and rubs his teeth in the flesh making her back arch in the tingling effect of it but she'll also giggle everytime the younger place sweet little pecks on her lips before turning back in the harsh action causing her to be confused. He never kissed her like that - changing kinds of kisses from a matter of second, sure thing he'll kiss her softly to wild or wild to soft but it'll stay like that not like this.

It is because his mind is trying to betray his heart, he is having a war going on inside of his senses. As stated earlier he is still confused about their status and the kiss just made it more complicated than earlier. Did he kiss her to avoid the question or he kiss her as the answer to her question? Renjun doesn't know and he hated it- the question is asked in a wrong and good timing. Everything is rambled making it hard for him to choose.

Not until they both pull away from each other because of the burning sensation going on their ring fingers where their soulmate tattoo is inked and it's currently glowing in shades of red and gold just like how it glowed in their first shared soulmate contact. Renjun look up to her eyes and back to her initials in his ring finger, it swirls the same color not until the inked letters disappear causing for the two of them to be shocked.

When they see a tattoo of a gun swirled with a rose in a vine action with its red petals acting like bullets with fire. A kiss with the pure intention of love triggered their soulmate sign which supposed to had appeared in their first kiss but it didn't and now it showed up in their wrist.

“Mei? Can I be your boyfriend?”

“Fuck off Huang.”

“Y-you don't like me?”

“Of course I don't we're enemies right?”

“Oh.”

“Yes”

“Huh?”

“Do you want to be my boyfriend or nah?”

“Ofcource I do but-”

“Then your my boyfriend now”

“But you don't like me and we're literal enemies so- WHAT? WE'RE W- I'M NOW YOUR-” his excited is cut off by the girl kissing him.

Elysian - relating to or characteristic of heaven or paradise. And they finally did reached Elysian in each other's arm.

A boy asking CAN I BE YOUR BOYFRIEND is 2x better than them asking CAN YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND because dude you can't just ask someone to give themselves to you like your not some lucky mf you should be the one giving yourself to them because you're the one asking dzuh, grow up man.

ya bijj did not or did just published another story dedicated to Jisung just because she edited a book cover and ended up creating a whole plot because she can't sleep. like wth dude can't u see your messed up schedule?!
