CHAPTER SIX

The bright sunlight coming from the window blinds that had just been opened after a whole week of suffering in the brink of death shines the once dark and gloomy room to the closed eyes of the peacefully sleeping girl. Her features are now highlighted due to the light showing off her features that gotten more lively than before it's now devoid of any signs of the young lady suffering in pain and agony instead It's now lively and at peace.

A small whine leaving her now pinkish lips at the lack of warmth she used to treasure from yesterday making her wake up momentarily then slowly fluttering her eyes open its welcome by a blinding light making her squint it shut again turning her back towards the source of light to open her eyes again without anything that will harm her eyesight.

“Am I... Holy shit I'm alive!” she spring up the bed and jump around the room whilst screaming in pure happiness and joy as she turns and turns around making some of her brother's furniture or display stumbles and some of them finally fall of their desired place causing a loud crashing sound that cause her to stop and let out a squeal when she step on one of the broken piece of porcelain vase owned by the said boy.

Groaning, she use one of her feet to do little jumps to go at the door in the right side which is the restroom to treat the bleeding fresh wound in her left foot by getting the first aid kit in the cabinet. She clasp the white wooden box in her hand doing the same weird way of walking back to the bed to sit to get a clearer view and comfortable place to treat her wound, midway of opening the box she halt at the thought of a little soulmate touch to heal the wound but stop when realizing the latter won't do it.

“Stop daydreaming about that dick head busting the door open to heal the shit out of you by sharing a five seconds skin to skin contact... he's too ruthless to do it anyways he might even laugh at me” she mumble as beads of sweat starts to form in her forehead while choosing a comfortable position to heal and see the wound well and specially to check if there's any stuck it bitty piece of glass surrounding her flesh.

Finally after deciding a good position to sit, she take the plastic of the cotton balls to get some of it alongside with the small yellow container that contains the betadine that she prefers more than alcohol. She then gently make the soft and wet texture of the cotton to get a contact with her bloodied flesh that only made her hiss in the itchy and stinging sensation as she now gently rub it to clean the damage area.

While wrapping her left foot gently with the bandage the door burst open revealing a heavily irritated Renjun who's now shooting her with daggers by starring deadly at her figure. Her brows furrow towards the boy but just shrug it off by continuing minding her own business by finishing the last tie to hold the bandage in place when Renjun pull her right wrist and then rudely throwing it after five seconds.

“What the fuck is wrong with you Huang? Can't you see that I'm healing my self here why would you pull my wrist when I'm doing my thing here?” Meigui ask irritably her soulmate's feelings is now affecting her own feelings due to the successful process of making the soulmate bond strong after spending the night cuddling with the furious latter with a smirk tug up in the corner of his lips.

“What a good way to thank someone Zhong, bye the way thanks to the one and only Huang Renjun because he literally heal you since you are disturbing me when you hurt yourself by being such a clumsy ass” Renjun spat sarcastically to the girl below him who just roll her eyes while taking off the bandage wrapped securely in her foot since the wound well probably had already disappear due to the soulmate healing.

Not giving any damn to reply to the younger Chinese, Meigui wrapped the blood stained bandage on itself before tossing it to the trash bin not that far from the bed and walking towards the same door leading to the personal comfort room of Chenle's bedroom completely turning her back from her soulmate making it only grow more irritated and impatient waiting for the two words slipping of her lips that didn't even popped in her head.

“Hey! where do you think you're going I'm not yet done talking to you!” Renjun shout to the retrieving figure of Meigui who just step off leaving the room after seven days of improvement due to the shouting boy rejecting the soulmate bond.

“And why do we need to talk huh?” she tease making the latter's eye twitch when her words register in his busy mind.

“Are you that ungrateful? I literally healed you even its against my will yet you're not sparing a single thank you to me” he ask while crossing his arm to his chest whilst tapping his shoes on the ground patiently waiting for the standing girl in the middle of the hallway talk but just end up smirking victoriously before turning around and continue walking leaving a furious boy in the room.

A wide grin is present in the girl's pinkish lips as she joyfully jump up and down like a kindergarten enjoying a muddy puddles as she take the confusing long hallway of the god knows what floor she is. She continue doing her little act of joy when her hair is yank making her welp and stumble backwards due to the force applied, she turn around to see Renjun's blank face as his left hand grips her hair tightly.

“This is the way to the ground floor and not there, you'll end up going to my office if you take that route” is all he says as his grip on her hair loosen. His next movement make her freeze in her spot when he fix her disheveled hair by combing it with his fingers running through her locks and finish it by tucking it behind her ear.

He continue walking not sparing a glance to the now reddened girl who comb her hair for the last time before following him before he disappear.

“This house is too big I guess... maybe even in the same size of ours but I don't live her so I'm not familiar with the routes and shits” Meigui stated slowly catching up to the boy and finally getting in the pace that he takes he hums in response not wanting to cause another bickering between the two of them.

“I uh thank you for first healing me and by telling me the right path even though it hurts the way you stop me walking”
