CHAPTER EIGHT
meet and greet

The five young adults gather in the dinner area seating in their perspective chairs except the one male standing in the kitchen area cooking delicious meal for the gang members while they're minding their own business in their own worlds. Minimalist decorations scattered in the place neatly and creatively in the shades of white, black and grey giving a modernize aesthetic vibe not just in the dinning room but also allover the house except the members room since they have their own styles.

A modernize mansion located in a high secluded part of Gangnam displays the mesmerizing night view of the city of Seoul as it look so lively despite of the time nearing 7 pm where the city lights makes up a city filled of different colored stars, is owned by Zhong Chenle that he bought by his own money for the first money reward of his first ever mission with NCT DREAM when he was only fifteen years old and then moving in with his friends.

“So how's your staying here?” a voice coming from the black haired boy she didn't know what his name is break the silence lingering between the young adults towards the space out sister of Chenle casually sitting in her new designated chair while staring to oblivion other known as the white plain wall infront of her since there's only a empty chair in the other side of the table owned by the cooking boy.

“It is suffocating like really suffocating I feel like a prisoner in my own brother's house well I mean I'm a literal prisoner here since you guys held me captive for a unknown reason” Meigui replies staring to the boy who willingly volunteer to talk to her out of her brother and other three boys seating around the table holding gadgets.

“What about we introduce ourselves guys to make it less suffocating for her shall we?” another voice speak coming from the kitchen side revealing a figure wearing his casual home clothes topped by a black apron as his both hands hold two plates with the delicious food because of its rich smell that make her mouth drooling with the smell and sight of it while he carefully place it on the table.

“Bye the way I'm Na Jaemin, I'm a fighter and a firearm specialist alongside of being a cook and mommy figure to these fuckers” the jet black haired boy with the apron flash a sweet comforting smile as he brings out the other dishes and the rice he cooked for all of them to eat and feast, she smiles back.

“Umm so Jaemin right? do you know who the fuck is that little soulmate of mines since I only know him as Huang according from what Chenle said to me” Meigui asks eyeing the said boy with bewilderment swirling in her eyes making the boy sigh before continuing.

“Well that little soulmate of yours is a big time leader of our sub unit ever since our former leader Mark Lee decided to focus on 127 squad, he is one of NCT'S ACE and one of the top list of this world's mafia member with a numerous number of kills, the one and only Huang Renjun” Jaemin finishes as he place the last plate on the table while watching the girl's expression which is nodding and internally judging.

“Eh. he's not that interesting... let's move on shall we how about you?” she tries to shrug the new information off as she nods to the black haired boy for him to introduce himself.

Well he is very interesting. Just imagine the amount of tea you'll get when you find out the thousands of unknown reason why he is in a mafia upfront group who is working with the government, how did he end up there, why he is so cold and irritable- she wanna know every single inch of him, every detail, every flaw he has for her to understand why did the universe picked him to be the other half of her - he is just full of wonders.

“I'm Lee Jeno a fighter and a the ones who train them and the new possible members joining the gang” the one who asked her earlier with a bulky figure introduce himself with a eye smile that contrast his manly and mascular figure making the girl melt inside in the sight of his eye smile as she giggle cooing the boy.

“Firearm specialist but a explosives major, Lee Donghyuck but you can call me Haechan if you like” a tanned male seating next to Chenle wave his hands while holding a little bomb making Meigui scrunch her face at sight as he shyly put it down when Chenle dogged him with his elbows upon seeing her reaction on the thing.

“Park Jisung, I'm the hacker and the youngest in the group and the whole NCT” the purple haired boy who explained her the goal and what NCT truly is smiles shyly while scooping a right amount of food he wants to eat and so as the other members and Meigui as they eat in peace with a little chattering from here and there.

“Whoa! your sister is really amazing Chenle what the hell happened to you-” Donghyuck didn't finish his little teasing when he is dogged again in the stomach by the younger making him choke in the meat he is eating making the group break in a loud laughter making the soulless and silent spacious mansion become lively and comforting not just for her but for the other members as well.

Chenle was about to throw a sassy remark when a pair of shoes echoes as it meet the cold tiled floor to their direction making the four of them snap their head to see Renjun holding a dark blue folder containing a thick pages made up of too many bondpaper. Each dream members seat up straight and turn back to their emotionless face expression before their leader reach the place, slamming down the packed paper in the table making her wince at the sound.

“What now?” Renjun asks Meigui while raising his left brow. The girl scrunch her face as she gulps the orange liquid served by Jaemin earlier as she chew the meat she is eating at the moment before the furious boy enter the place where they're just eating peacefully.

“What is it again huh Huang you are prying on me again I'm just eating here for God's sake”

“I'm going to have a meeting here now get your ass up there and go inside Chenle's room I don't want anyone out from the group hearing about this mission and information because it's on our law you get it?” his words didn't cone out as a request or anything but a full command for her to do but Meigui being the girl she is didn't budge and continue eating the meat making the boy hiss in annoyance.

Chenle elbows his sister and shooting her with a death glare tilting his head to the side where the exit to the dinning area is making the older groan “I haven't eat dessert yet- ouch okay okay! you better call me when its dessert time” Meigui finally stand up after getting pinched by him in her waist leaving her defeated and follow his command, stomping harshly in the floor up to the stairs leaving the gang members alone.

“I'm sorry to interrupt your meet and greet session but TY just sent a important mission that has to do with that girl. Chenle and her father is kidnapping random women on the most random places, drugging them to sell them or make them work as prostitute in the disgusting bar he owns”
