"what took you so long?" matthew asked
kakababa ko lang from our suite
"nagbabad ako sa tub got a problem with that?" i asked
i heard him chuckling
"alright mi amor chill i'm just starving" he replied
dina ako nagsalita at inaya na siya umupo
"what do you want to eat?" he asked
"ayoko kumain ng rice tataba na'ko wala na tayong ibang ginawa kundi kumain" i said as i pout
he pinched my cheek
"silly whether you're sexy or chubby i will love you either way" he said and winked
namula naman ako sa sinabi niya
"stop it" i replied
he just smiled at me
"we will have the salad then" he sai
"waiter" he said
"yes sir?" the waiter replied
"we will have two salad and a wine" matthew said
"just wait for a minute your food will be serve soon sir" the waiter replied
ilang minuto lang ang lumipas ay agad ding dumating ang inorder ni matthew
we ate and talked about some stuff before we decided to go back in our suite
we both got into the bed and fell asleep
the next day i woke up with matthew's hands around my waist
i looked at him and smiled
i slowly reached his forehead and kissed it before i decided to leave our bed
magpapahangin muna ako sa labas
i put my slippers on and leave our suite
nagpunta ako sa tabing dagat, the air is so refreshing
i'm still wearing my pajama matt didn't allow me to wear my nighties because he said it's tempting him
i stood at the shore for a minute before i decide to go to one of the coffee shops here
"good morning maam" bati sa'kin ng barista
"good morning" i greeted back
"what's your order maam?" he asked
"one cappuccino" i said
"yun lang po ba maam?" he asked
"yes thank you" i replied
i waited for a minute before he gave me my order i smiled at him before leaving the counter
i sat at one of the chairs near the window
i was about to drink my coffee when someone sat across the chair i was sitting
tinignan ko siya and my jaw dropped
it was gavin
"look i know you don't want to see me but can we please talk for at least a few minutes?" he said
i was stunned for a moment and couldn't even talk
is this the gavin who used to treat me like a piece of trash?
it's just unbelievable
"are you with me?" he asked again
"what's the real deal gavin?" i asked
"what are you talking about?" he asked
"why all of the sudden you want me?you keep on bugging me for pete's sake! out of all those years i've waisted bakit ngayon?" i asked
"i don't know i told you i can't get you off my mind and all i want is to be with you" he held my hand
agad kong tinanggal ang pagkaka-hawak niya sa kamay ko
"look tigilan mo na'ko if this is part of your bullshits please stop it" i said and stood up
i was about to leave when he pulled my hand
"i won't stop until i get you keep that on mind" he said
hindi ko na pinansin ang sinabi niya at agad na umalis ng coffee shop
nang makabalik ako sa suite namin ni matt i saw him still sleeping in bed
i sat beside him and played with his hair
he slowly opened his eyes and look at me
"good morning mi amor" he said
"good morning" i replied
hinatak niya ako at napahiga naman ako sa dibdib niya
i stayed quiet listening to his heartbeat while he was playing with my hair
"what's wrong mi amor?" he asked
i look at him he really knows when something is up with me
"well kanina i leave our suite and get some coffee then gavin showed up" i said
"then?" he said
i look away before answering him
"he was asking me to talk to him at least for a couple of minutes, i asked him what's the real deal but then he acted as if he don't know what am i talking about" i said
"like do you even believe him? he treated me like a piece of trash for many years tapos ngayon he's acting as if he wanted me badly what kind of a bullshit is that?" i continued
i look at him again
"he said he won't stop until he gets me" i said
he suddenly stopped playing my hair
"anong sinabi mo sa kanya?" he asked
"wala umalis nalang ako" i replied
tumayo siya mula sa pagkakahiga at umupo ganon din naman ang ginawa ko
"mi amor" he said
"hmm?" i replied
"why don't you give him a chance?" he asked
"what? what do you mean?" i replied
"if he wanted to prove to you that he love you then so be it" he said
"what? it doesn't make any sense matt" i replied as i look away
"look mi amor i know from the very start that you liked him and there's a huge possibility that the connection between us was just because you're longing for him" he said, i saw pain in his eyes
"no matt i like you, like for real" i said
"i know mi amor nararamdaman ko din naman but i want you to be happy with me not because you have no choice but because you're genuinely happy being with me"
he cupped my face
"give him a chance i will also shoot my shot i will court you while he was courting you,may the best man win" he said
"but matt-" he put his fingers on my lips
"no buts you deserve to choose the right man for you and wether i win your heart or not i will always be right here aight?" he said
i nodded i leaned over and kissed him on his cheek i gave him a smacked
"thank you for putting my happiness first always but i'll think about it i told you before i want to focused my attention with you because i know you're more deserving than him" i said
he hugged me
"shh just think about it mi amor" he said
"now get up and take a shower i'll take you on a date before we go home" he said and kissed my forehead
tumayo naman ako at dumeretso sa comfort room
why do you always need to be like this matt you're so selfless and i'm hating it.
