MATTHEW'S POV
i saw xyree walking back into the cafe she's spacing out again i wonder what they've talked about
she slowly sat in the chair in front of me
"hey are you okay?" i asked
"no" she said
"what happened?" i asked
"well dad said i have until the year ends to make gavin fall inlove with me" she said
"and?" i replied
"i only have 2 days left matt" she said as she started crying
i stood up and sat next to her
i wiped her tears
"what do you mean?" i curiously asked
"kanina sa parking lot gavin and i talked, he apologise for what he have done the last time on their house remember?" she asked
i just nodded
"i said that it's fine and he said that i shouldn't go near him again if i don't want to get hurt and as usual sinabi nanaman niya 'yung gasgas na niyang linya na hindi niya ako gusto" she said, i saw pain in her eyes
"then he was about to leave but i grabbed his hand and he got mad sabi ko sa kanya bigyan niya lang ako ng 2 days just until his birthday then i will leave him alone, i don't know why did i say that but i did" she continued
i rubbed her back and comforted her
"making him fall inlove with me in a few months is already hard 'yun pa kayang 2 days lang? but i have to fulfil my promise" she said
"hey hush now it's alright" i said as i hugged her
she hugged me back and cried even more
XYREE'S POV
i felt matthews lips on my forehead
tiningala ko siya he just smiled at me
sana ikaw nalang una kong nakilala when i was a kid because if i did? i probably won't be in this situation
"its alright xy come on let's skip class i want to take you somewhere else" he said
hinawakan niya ako sa kamay at agad na hinatak palabas ng coffee shop
"hey we can't skip class! bumalik na tayo" i said
"of course we can my parents own this school remember? come on just hop in" he said
he leave me with no choice
pumasok nalang ako sa loob ng kotse niya
"where are we going?" i asked
"shh just relax okay?" he said
"matthew, i swear i will kick your ass!" i said and glared at him
i heard him chuckle
"chill basta just relax i will take you where you can be happy" he said as he smile
'di na'ko nag-salita pa at tumingin nalang sa labas ng bintana
minutes had passed
"we're here!" he said excitedly
i looked around
it's an amusement park
it's been a long time since i got here
"come on let's go buy tickets" he said at hinatak ako papunta sa ticket booth
"good afternoon sir ticket for two?" she said
"yes please" he replied
binigyan naman kami ng ticket it was a ride all you can ticket
"so where should we go first?" he asked
"i want to ride the roller coaster" i said as i looked at him
nakita ko naman siyang parang kinabahan
"what's wrong?" i asked
"w-wala a-ano sa iba n-nalang tara" he said while stuttering
i laughed
"what? anong nakaka-tawa?" he asked
"you're the one who brings me here yet you're afraid to ride a roller coaster?the irony tho" i said as i laughed again
"i bring you here because i want you to forget all of your problems and besides madami namang ibang rides come on!" he said
"no tara na matt sakay na tayo please?" i said
"fine but incase i die it's all your fault" he said
i just chuckled.
this will be fun
