the next day......
XYREE'S POV
i woke up the next morning and matthew's not on my bed maybe he left when i fell asleep i smiled with that thought
i took a bath and made myself ready to go to school, oh well back to reality
i got out from my room at dumeretso na sa dining table na-abutan ko ang parents ko na nag-aalmusal
"you should eat na princess, you have to go to school pa" papa said
i nodded and gave them a peck on their cheeks
"do you want us to drop you off of your school?" mama asked
"no ma, it's fine i'll just call matthew" i said and smiled
we ate breakfast but my parents headed out first because they had an early meeting
i took my phone a dialed matthew's number
it rang for a couple if minutes before he answered it
"hi mi amor good morning" he said on the other line
i smiled
"good morning" i replied
"are you on your way on school?" matthew asked
"no, actually i told my parents na you'll drop me off nalang can we go together?" i asked
"i'm sorry mi amor but remember i told you last night that we have early errands that we have to do? we're here right now, i can't make it on time para sabay tayong pumasok because we will both be late" he said
"oh that's fine, i'll take taxi nalang see you in school and take care" i replied
"you sure you're okay with that?" he asked
"yeah so see you at school" i replied
"okay, take care mi amor" he said
i dropped the call and waited for a taxi when i saw gavin's car getting out of their house
i looked away and continued waiting for taxi i could've just used my car but i'm too lazy to drive
i was about to call the taxi when gavin parked his car in front of me, he then opened his window
"sabay kana" he said
i smiled at him sarcastically
"no thanks, i'll just take taxi" i replied
"don't be a brat and just get in the car" he said
i didn't replied and looked away
"come on, look at the taxi it already has it passenger so you'll be late if you waited there" he said
i looked at the taxi and saw it leaving, i took a deep breath before i opened the door of his car
he started the engine of his car and drove off
we just stayed quiet until we got to the school i saw matthew waiting for me in his car
gavin parked his car
"thanks for the ride" i plainly said
i was about to leave when he took my hand and stopped me, i looked at him
"what?" i asked
"nothing" he replied then he released my hand
i opened the door and walked straight toward to matthew
"why are you in gavin's car?" he asked
"i was waiting for a taxi pero sobrang tagal then he was about to leave their house na din so he asked if gusto kong sumabay i'm late na din so i had no choice" i said
"hmm so that's how it is, are u okay?" he asked
i smiled at him and nodded
we walked away from the parking lot and headed to our classroom but gavin's eyes kept on bothering me
just now is it sadness i saw on gavin's eyes when he looked at me while we're in his car? but why?
