*Phoenix POV  3 months later*

I was finally getting released from the hospital today. I had barely talked to any people besides Dr. Milley and the nurses that come in every once and a while to check on me, and Bunny was barely ever able to come see me. I barely ever talked to the boys on the phone. They were in New York right now and their first show in Madison Square Garden was tomorrow. I was going to surprise them during the concert. Me and Paul already had it worked out with the stage crew.

Paul was going to meet me at the New York airport when I got off my flight at 7 o'clock, take me back to a hotel that was seperate from the boys, and then tomorrow I would surprise the boys during their twitter questions. I was really excited for it.

So, now I was sitting on the edge of my bed, signing my release papers, "You ready to get out of here, 'Nix?" Marcy, the main nurse who came to check on me asked.

"Of course! No offence, but I've been here too long." I said with a laugh.

"No, Darlin', it's understandable. Now, your ankle is almost healed, but you need to keep it elevated and sit as much as you can, oh, and you can take the boot off in 3 weeks, though, I still want you to wear a brace on it. You've been off it for 3 months and you need to take it easy, but build the muscle slowly. And take it easy on your back. I know it's healed, but there was extensive damage to it and it will be sore. And be careful with your shoulder. I gave you the sling for a reason." She lectured. I smiled.

"I'll be careful, mom." I joked. She smiled faintly and ruffled my hair.

I stood up, pulling my change of clothes out of my bag, "Different clothes!" I said with relief. I changed into the clothes and smiled.

(CLOTHES ARE IN THE EXTERNAL LINK TO THE RIGHT)

I slipped on the left shoe of a pair of black TOMS, putting the right one back in my bag. Not like I could wear it, I had a walking cast on.

I stretched my right arm up, feeling a small tug all over my back from the newer scars and some that hadn't healed completely yet, but it felt amazing not feeling the painful pull of the stitches. My shoulder was still really painful, but she had given me painkillers for it, not that it would have any effect. The fire in my blood would burn it before it helped me at all.

"Looks like you're free to go, 'Nix. I have to say, we're going to miss you around here, but I don't want to see you here again. Got it?" Milley said.

"I'll try not to get hurt again, Dr. Milley. You have my word." I said with a smile. I guess it was hospital rules because they forced me into a wheelchair and wheeled me down to the entrance, where a taxi was waiting there to take me to the airport. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Bunny running towards us, a suitcase in hand.

I stood up slowly, then turned to her, "What are you doing, Bunny?" I asked, curiosity running through me.

"I'm going with you. Just for a few days, though." She said, putting her suitcase into the back of the taxi.

"Really?" I asked, excitement my only emotion.

"Really. And I know that you don't like planes. It wouldn't be smart in the slightest for you to go by yourself." She said. Wow... she remembered that? I had only mentioned it once... like 2 months ago.
