*Phoenix's POV*
So, being carted off your hateful ex- brother is a fun experience. Especially when I had walked over to him without a word and he grabbed my left wrist so hard he had snapped it. That was fun.
Now, here I was, chained in the Heart Household courtyard to 2 giant concrete poles with concrete chains wrapped around every inch of my body. My wrists, elbows, my waist and neck, my thighs, my ankles. Everywhere. And the concrete wasn't helping my wrist at all.
"Why have you returned to this city, Abomination? You know there is a punishment for disobeying my command." My father, Tiger, eclaimed.
"I didn't have a choice, O Dumb One." I said in the same tone as he had.
I felt a crack agianst my back. OOOH they brought the whip out. I sensed who had it, "What's up, Mo?" I asked, turning my head. Pain shot through my back, blood ran down from the wound.
"Same old, Phoenix." He responded. What the heck did that mean?
"How dare you ignore my word! I sired you from the ashes that your spirit came from! Have some respect towards me!" he cried. I scoffed.
"Have respect for an old shit like you? You need to give respect to earn it, fat man! And I don't care if you 'sired me from the fucking ashes that my spirit came from', you're still the same asshole you were when I was 10. Nothings changed!" I cussed at him. I had so much anger towards this man it wasn't even funny.
He blew up, "Monkey, beat her. I don't care what you do, I don't care who joins in, just beat this disrespectful child!" he cried. His features changed and he turned into his Tiger form and stalked towards me.
"Kitty wanna play?" I asked sarcastically. He growled and jumped at me, his teeth ripping into my shoulder. I refused to cry out, though. I was used to this treatment from him. Thats why I had been lucky the earlier scars from my childhood faded. The boys had never noticed a thing... or maybe they didn't notice because I never let them see my back.
He ripped his teeth out of my shoulder after I heated the fire in my blood to an even hotter level than it was already at. I had burned him *snicker*.
more whips rained down on my back and I saw the blood pool at my feet. A felt someone take a kick at my ankle and I felt it snap. I didn't cry out. They broke my ribs. I didn't cry out. I wasn't giving them the satisfaction of hearing my pain. Or even seeing it for that matter. I kept my face completely blank.
There was a thud against my head and my world drained to black.
I woke up, unable to move I felt so much pain. I opened my eyes, the only part of me that I was able to move, and looked around. I was in an alley.... that was familiar. I could vaguely hear people walking by, paying no attention to the girl lying on the ground of the alley... nevermind, I spoke too soon
Someone came running, screaming "Oh my gosh, someone call and ambulance!" A woman screamed, running over and kneeling beside me. She pulled off her coat and pressed it to my stomach, making me wince, "I'm sorry, Doll, but I have to get the bleeding to stop. What's your name?" She asked kindly.
"Phoenix...." I breathed out. I felt her hand touch the top of my head.
"That's a beautiful name, Phoenix. Don't worry, the ambulance is almost here." She said soothingly, "Just don't go to sleep, Doll." she said. Was she a nurse? She had experience with patients and what to do in these situations....
My body seized with pain and I yelped. At that moment.... I wanted Niall. Not in that way, I just wanted him to hug me and say it was going to be ok. I wanted my little Irishman, "I want.... Niall..." I breathed through the pain, tears streaking down my face.
