Sick days veteran x reader

Groaning I clutched the seat of the toilet heaving the contents of my stomach for what seemed like the 100th time that day. It was around midnight when it started . At first I thought it was food poisoning but when I spiked with a high fever I was a little relieved .

Flushing the contents I slowly stood up and made my way back to my room when another door opened and revealed a tired looking Veteran .

He opened his mouth to say something but before a word could get out I was dashing back to the bathroom . Collapsing on the floor a gripped the toilet again and heaved more acid as tears ran down my face .

Veteran runs in and kneels besides me and rubs my back comfortingly . After heaving a few more minutes I laid back against the wall groaning .

"Here dude ." Looking over I see a glass of water in vets hand . Taking a few small sips veteran rubs a wet wash cloth over my head cooling my fever down a little .

"T-thanks vet sorry for waking you up ..." I looked down embarrassed when he shrugged me off "Dont worry about it dude I was already up to be honest . How are you feeling ?" I grunt in response making him chuckle a little .

With a sigh he scooped me up in his arms and brought me to my bedroom . My face felt like it was one fire from embarrassment which made veteran chuckle warmly .

Setting me down on my bed he walked out for a few minutes and came back with a trash can , ginger ale , and stomach medicine. Which I groaned at .

He handed me the medicine cup which made me grunt me hide under the covers . I heard a sigh .

"(Y/N) dude you need to take this . " I shook my head in defiance .

"Dont make me use my secret attack dude ." He said with a smirk . In response I rolled over with my back facing him .

With another sigh he rips off the blankets and pulls me onto his lap with a small pink blush on his face . He suddenly drank the medicine and without warning slammed his lips on mine in a heated kiss .

Blushing I immediately kissed back tasting the medicine being put into my mouth . Breaking away we both panted with red faces .

Noticing what he did I pouted and he only chuckled and held me tighter .

"Your cute when your angry ~" he flirted making my face turn even more red than possible. I yawned feeling tired from the medicine . He noticed and laid me down and tucked me in and was about to leave . I grabbed his wrist and looked away with a pout . "C-can you stay ...please ?" He smiled in response and slipped in next to me and brought me to his chest . The warmth from him lulled me to sleep within minutes .

But not before hearing him whisper "I love you "
