Comfort

Third person pov:

After eating her fruit, Avery spent the rest of the night watching youtube on her computer.

She was getting bored quickly.

Ding!  

The notification sound from her phone alerted her.

She put in her fingerprint on the phone's sensor and checked what notification she had got.

"karljacobs is streaming" the white box on her screen read.

Her eyes lit up.

She opened up twitch on her computer instead of her phone, the bigger view being more nicer than her small phone screen.

Pulling up Karl's stream, Avery watched happily.

Karl had always been one of her comfort streamers. Whenever he was streaming she felt safe and comforted even tho it was through the screen and she was still in her house. And even if half of the time he was being very loud, she still felt comforted.

Karl was doing a jackbox stream with Quackity, Dream, George, Sapnap, Wilbur and Niki.

Avery watched them as they played, laughing quietly at their immature answers in "quiplash" and their creative yet interesting raps in "mad verse city". 

She wished she was there. She wished she could play with them and laugh with them. But she knew that was impossible. She knew that there were no chance that would happen.

All she could do was wish. Wish until she could actually get out of the house and start making a move to make that wish happen.

Karl eventually ended stream at 4 am. Avery decided to go to bed after that so that the next day she could function properly.

Karl's pov:

"Well that was a fun stream." I said to my friends through discord even though we live in the same house.

"AGREED! what the hell is the time?" Quackity responded, asking a question at the same time.

I glanced down at my phone. My eyes widened.

"OH MY GOD! ITS 4AM" I spoke with a shocked voice.

"Were we really playing for that long?" Sapnap asked, clearly amused as well.

George answered, saying "I guess"

" I'm surprised we actually lasted that long. I thought the shopping in the morning would have  tired us all." Niki spoke.

"Well, I'm actually still not tired" I said before downing the rest of my monster, throwing in the trash can beside me later.

"Of course your not tired. You literally drank 7 monsters, Karl!" Sapnap said, making the whole group laugh.

I jokingly rolled my eyes at his comment.

"But to be honest, I'm actually not tired too", Sapnap said with a bland tone.

Various tones of "Same" and "Agreed" came from the call.

"So none of us are tired?"

"Yes", everybody said in sync.

Everybody let out a laugh not even 2 seconds later.

"Are you guys down for a movie?" Wilbur asked after awhile of silence.

Everybody left the vc except for me, Wilbur and George.

"The fuck?" Wilbur spoke at the sudden disperse of our friends.

Moments later I hear shuffling outside my room.

I opened my door to see everybody who was previously in the vc going down the stairs.

I walked back to my desk and put my headphones on.

"Did you guys hear it too?"

"Yup! I definitely got my answer too"

" See you guys downstairs" I said as I left the vc.

After grabbing a blanket, I headed downstairs and towards the movie room.

I got there and saw almost everyone in the room 

And when I said almost everyone, I meant it.

I quirked an eyebrow. 

"We were down here since 2" Drista spoke.

"Yea. None of us felt like a sleeping" Lani confirmed Drista's words.

"I am a big man. I don't sleep" Tommy said while puffing his chest up.

"Yea, whatever" Dream said passing by with a bowl of popcorn in his hands.

Tommy started rambling on why he was better than Dream before Wilbur asked him to shut up.

I ignored their conversation and sat next to Quackity on one of the many seats.

After everyone had gotten snacks and settled into their own seats, we started voting for what movie to watch.

Lots of bickering later, Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone got chosen as the movie.

Everybody got comfortable and silently watched the screen in front of us.
