(Little disclaimer: I am not shipping Avery with anybody here, all the nicknames, hand holding and stuff that I will write in the future are FULLY platonic. just so anybody won't get the wrong idea. and if you have any questions, comment here and I will answer them :P )

Avery's pov:

"Can you call Dream and ask him if he can pick us up? I'm kind of tired", Tommy spoke, giving a slight yawn after.

The excitement of me being able to stay with them had finally cooled down.

But a few questions still ran around in my mind. I knew that a lot of people from the smp stayed there.

So, what if they didn't like me?

What if they thought I was weird?

What if I was a just an extra burden to them?

It was just one day but still.

Apparently, Drista could sense my discomfort. She put a hand around my shoulder and whispered in my ear, "I know you're feeling scared but trust me they will love you".

Her words brought me a bit of comfort but it didn't fully remove my thoughts.

"Why are we still standing? I'm pretty sure Dream is going to take some time to get here", Lani spoke while looking at everyone who were standing.

"Fair point", Ranboo spoke while taking a seat on the rock.

Soon enough all of us had taken a seat and started another conversation, which was Tommy asking me a question.

"So, Avery. I have a very very important question for you"

Beside me, I heard both Drista and Lani mutter "Oh god" under their breaths at the same time. Despite their words, I still continued. "What is it Tommy?"

"What are your thoughts on women?" Oh god, now I understand why both of the women beside me said that.

"Women are very pog to me Tommy"

"Good"

"Changing the topic! Avery what are your pronouns? I forgot to ask you earlier", Ranboo spoke, obviously not wanting Tommy to continue he's stupid questions.

"Oh yeah. My pronouns are she they"

"Got you"

"Do you have any nicknames?", Tubbo asked with curiousity.

"Uhhhhh. Not really"

"Your official nickname is now uhhhh Avy", Tubbo spoke.

"Add on Ava too. Are you good with those?", Drista added on too Tubbo's words, asking me a question after.

"Sure!"

"Grea-", Tubbo got cut off by the sound of a car honking.

A few meters away was a black Subaru Ascent, led lights shining from the inside.

I looked at it, confused on why it would just honk at us.

"Clay's here. Come on"

"Ohhhh. That's Dream", I spoke.

"Yeah, now come on. Lets go", Drista lightly pulled my sweater, tugging me along to the car.

Tommy opened the door and got in to the furthest seat in the back, Tubbo following along.

Drista let go of me and opened the passenger seat, getting in.

That left me, Lani and Ranboo in the middle. Me in the middle, Lani to my right and Ranboo to my left.

"Hey. I'm Dream"

"She knows who you are.", Drista spoke, making a confused Dream turn towards her saying "Huh?"

"She's kinda like a fan."

"Ohhhhh"

"Dream meet Avery, Avery meet Dream", Drista said.

"Hi", I spoke softly.

"Hello. And nice to meet you."

"Thanks for letting me stay at your house for the night", I spoke a tad bit louder.

"Of course! It's really no problem, plus it would be nice to have another kid in the house. A less annoying one", Dream said while glancing at Tommy through the rear view mirror.

Everybody burst out laughing at Dream's words, everybody except Tommy.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! I'M NOT AN ANNOYING CHILD", Tommy shouted, clearly annoyed with Dream's comment.

"Sure Tomathy"

"SHUT UP", Tommy slumped further into his seat.

Slowly after, Dream started driving to what I assumed was the house that was shared by many people.

My eyelids ticked close bit by bit, sleep taking over me.

....

"Avy"

"Avy, wake up"

I opened my eyes to see Ranboo poking my side.

"Hm?", I said sleepily.

"We're here"
