Third person pov:

Minx, Puffy, Niki, Lani, Drista and Hannah continued on their shopping trip, forgetting about the incident that happened earlier.

The whole group met up later in the designated area, heading home with at least one bag in each and everyone's hand. Some more than others.

Before going back, they stopped at another shop.

This time it was to get food, drinks and any other snacks that they wanted.

They spilt up once again. Each group in charge of getting different stuff from all the different aisles.

They bought a variety of fresh foods, frozen foods, canned ones and a few different types.

Bottles of orange juice, monsters and coke were also placed in their carts.

And finally, they filled at least 3 carts up with snacks.

By the end of the shopping trip, with almost 6 carts of things, they payed and left the store.

....

Meanwhile, Avery's was getting lectured on how "stupid" she was for accidentally bumping into "some random dumb youtube people", in her mothers words that was what they were.

"Bumping into them was already stupid. And then you have the audacity to stare at them you fucking dumbass. Even after I called you, you still dared talk to them." Avery's mother spat out, voice laced with anger.

How was she getting so worked up over something as small as accidentally bumping into someone?

Avery was still trying to find the answer to that.

"sorry"

Moments like these were when Avery wished that she didn't take her past for granted the most.

She missed the times where she could have a nice talk with her mother without any shouting involved.

She missed how her mother spent time with her to make her happy when she had a bad day.

She missed skipping school and having a girls day out with her mother. Going shopping, getting food and ice cream and going to the park. Sometimes even going out at night to star gaze.

But most importantly she missed her father.

Once he was gone, all happiness was gone.

And just like that her childhood was swept away as well.

The rest of the car ride back home was dead silent.

Again, only the faint sound of the song that was playing on the radio filled the car.
