A/N: Hi y'alls!! Good to see you again!!
*cringes at my intro*
Anyways, ANNOUNCEMENT:
I used to have a series of tildes (~) and bullet points (•) for time skips, but that's getting too annoying, so I'm just using a single tilde as a time skip. (Across all my books)
So yeah, don't get confused or anything, I just changed my time skips.

Sophie
Time seemed to stop. She couldn't register anything. At all.
Next thing she knew, someone threw a dagger, which hit Lady Gisela, Keefe was unconscious, and it seemed the Black Swan had won.
There was cheering, celebrating, embracing.
But the wild cry in her head drowned out everything.
All she remembered was praying that Keefe would be okay, as darkness overwhelmed her and she lost consciousness.
Well, apparently she'd lost more blood from her shoulder and head than she'd initially thought.

Keefe
He didn't know where he was.
All he knew was that it was so, so dark. And cold, for that matter.
He didn't even know who he was, nor did he know what had caused him to be this way.
Everything felt light years away.
However, there was one memory. One memory, of a blonde girl, gold flecked brown eyes lighting up as she laughed.
Somehow, that memory felt warmer than the endless darkness. Softer.
So he clung on to the memory, hoping and wishing that there was an end to the eternal darkness.

Sophie
Sophie awoke in her room, Jolie peering down at her anxiously.
"You're awake," she sighed, the relief evident on her face. "How are you feeling?"
She groaned, trying, and failing, to sit up.
"Lie down," her sister hissed. "You lost too much blood, don't try to move yet. Now answer my question, exactly how are you feeling?"
"For starters," Sophie croaked. "Thirsty."
It was true. Her throat felt like a desert, and she needed time to gather her thoughts.
Keefe-
"Here," Jolie shoved a glass of water under her nose. "You cracked your skull, luckily Physic was able to fix it. And you probably won't be able to use your arm for a few weeks."
She swallowed her water, attempting to figure out what her sister was talking about.
Oh.
Right.
Riiiiigggghhttt, she'd gotten hurt in the battle, and the extreme blood loss was why she'd passed out. Right.
She tried to sit up again, and this time, Jolie merely glared at her, but helped her up.
"How's everyone else?" She said weakly.
Jolie pursed her lips. "Are you sure you want to- "
"I'm sure."
