Ortiz de Rozaz palace
Madrid Anselmo gave a tight smile to the kitchen staff who were just done preparing his breakfast on the dining table. It was already past eight in the morning. As usual, he was eating alone... and probably, it will be forever.
Nakarinig naman siya ng mga yapak papunta sa dining area.
"Your majesty," it was Gonzalo.
"Gonzalo." He called his name, acknowledging him. He didn't glance at him and continued eating his meal.
"Good morning." His old butler started. It's been several years since his wife passed away and Gonzalo Martin has been always on his side. Gonzalo did not leave him despite everything that happened. He was already like a father figure to him... even though he knows his choices and decisions towards the country being King is questionable... and ruthless, the old man still stays with him.
"Good morning, kumain ka na?" He asked him. "Marami silang inihanda sa 'kin. You can eat breakfast with me."
Umiling ito. "I have already ate my breakfast, Sir. Thank you."
"How about Amalia? Kumain na ba siya?"
"She already went to the university, Sir. For her classes."
"I see." He replied as he ate the steak. He chewed it first before swallowing. "What brings you this early?"
"This is regarding about the Snowdon residence."
Napatigil si Madrid at nilingon ito. He squinted his eyes at Gonzalo. "What about it?"
"I was hoping Sir Richard Montez already told you."
"Ah." He reacted, realizing what he meant. Before he went home from a meeting in Iñiguez palace yesterday, sinabihan na siya ni Sir Richard Montez, his chief of staff, that someone finally bought the Snowdon residence. The buyer was a European woman, under the name of Jodie Grey. "He did, last night, after the meeting." Nagpatuloy lang siya sa pagkain ng breakfast pagkatapos.
There was a long silence.
Madrid stopped and sighed. He glanced at his private secretary again, whose eyes were obviously in disbelief. "Is there anything else, Gonzalo?"
"Uhm, the buyer, the new owner, she'll be renovating the house."
"Of course, it's her new house now. She can do whatever she wants to the house."
"Very well," Gonzalo bowed his head. "That's all, your majesty."
Gonzalo was about to step out from the dining room when he called his name again.
"Gonzalo, what's the job of Jodie Grey?" He asked, eyeing him.
"I believe she's a writer, Sir. A New York Bestselling Author."

Snowdon
"Fia, ang laking pasasalamat ko sa Diyos at buhay ka," Yaya Gigi, Sofia Elena's longtime maid under House Snowdon, said while cupping her face. It was a very sunny and a good morning as well. Yesterday, when she finally settled down all her things in the house, she asked Gonzalo's help to contact her family's previous helpers and their whereabouts.
And luckily, Gonzalo had contacted the two of them, Yaya Gigi and Cedes, her mom's former assistant.
Yaya Gigi was even hesitant at first when Gonzalo relayed the news about her—being alive. But then Gonzalo persuaded the old lady to visit the Snowdon residence and now finally believed Gonzalo. Si Cedes naman ay hindi pa rin makapaniwala sa nangyayari.
