"Ang laki na ni Sinclair," Lady Violetta told Sofia Elena while they were both watching Sinclar Augustus and Rafael playing on the beach. The boys seemed to enjoy each other's company. Sina Fia at Lady Violetta naman ay nakaupo lang sa isa sa mga cottages ng palasyo.
"I knew you were really pregnant," Lady Violetta added, reminiscing the past events. "And I am proud of the mother you have become now."
Fia fell silent as she watched her mother looking at the two boys. She bit her lip to calm her emotions. She was emotional during that time. Ilang taon na rin niyang hindi ito nakita. For those years, she always thought that Madrid went on for the death penalty. She thought that her mother died already... But her husband did otherwise.
And her emotions have been chaotic because of it.
"I don't understand," Fia could feel her eyes swelling up. "How did it happen? I thought you died. It was all over the news..."

Fia paused for a moment. Somehow, she became even more confused. "He was mad, Mama. I saw the anger and hatred in his eyes towards the people who wronged his family. He wanted to avenge them by sentencing all of you with the death penalty."
'Nung gabing napagpasyahan niyang iwan si Madrid, hindi na niya ito kilala. He saved me from my impending death punishment but not only me, even the former prime minister, he let him go." The old lady forced a smile. "He told me I am still your mother and even though you were gone, he still respects your wishes that I should be spared from getting punished.
