After some moment of watching her drink her tea, Venable clears her throat before talking "Go get your things, I'll be waiting outside." She lifts the napkin and damps it at the end of her lips to clean up.

"But I have-" You try to object to her order but her eyes shot at you, warning you that if you continue defying her then you might extend your punishment. So you push your lips against each other and lower your head slightly as you didn't finish your sentence.

The chair's feet glide against the vinyl floor of the cafe as she rises up from her seat. You did the same and put the dishes in the tray while cleaning the table. "Don't keep me waiting." Her cane strikes the ground and it made clacking sounds as she walks out.

You stride back to the kitchen once again to put the used cups and saucers. After that, you remove your apron and get your bag "Goodnight, Zach! Thank you for covering up for me." Waving your hand to your friend as you're pacing out.

Wilhemina is near the door together with Ben, her driver. "Let's go?" Meeting her delighted complexion and you nod your head. You give your bag to Ben and advance closer to your mistress, her hand lays on your lower back as you both enter inside of her Rolls Royce.

The car drove off and you remain silent while you doze off for a moment. Noticing that the trip is taking unusually long, you wonder if you're already home so open your eyes and look over the car window.

"What's wrong, sweetheart?"

You feel a hand nestled upon yours as you're trying to recall where you are right now. "This is not the right street to your house." Slowly speaking and veering your attention from the outside, looking down on your hands that are resting over your thigh then darting your eyes up to her.

"Yes, I was thinking of having dinner outside once in a while." Her violet lips stretch out to form an elated smile. After that, it was complete silence until you reach the restaurant.

The place was very elegant as you enter, she's talking to the host of the restaurant and he guides you to your table then the both of you settle down. Everybody is looking descent as well as your owner only you look terribly awful. You sink into your seat out of embarrassment as you scan your surrounding while you can't pick which one to order.

Venable puts down the menu and darted her brown spheres over you. "You look uneasy." Her voice claims your attention to face her concerned eyes.

"I just feel out of place, going to a fancy place and looking like this." Your hands gesture to point to your clothing which is black pegged pants and a fitted white shirt. "I thought we're going to a simple diner." Slightly frowning and turning your gaze away.

You hear a sneer leave her mouth, "Sweetheart, you look fine."

Then later on a waiter advances to your table. "Good evening, ladies. May I take your order?" He greeted cheerfully, pen and paper on his hands as he is ready to takedown orders. You stare at the man and let Venable do the talking.

Her head veers to look at the server "Medium rare filet mignon with asparagus on the side." The tone shifts to somber, making the waiter feel nervous and intimidated by her in general as he scribbles down her order. "What's yours, sweetheart?" Then turning her gaze on you, asking what you want.

You tip your head down to the menu once again as you don't know what to get. Feeling pressured by the situation, you have no other choice but to say "I'll have what she's having." Together with a meek smile while he writes down on his paper.

"Then one bottle of California Red Zinfandel." Your mistress added before the waiter left.

Moments later, your dinner was served so you're currently having the meal. The chattering of the people and the jazz music fills the table as none of you brings up a conversation. Then you remember something that you were meaning to ask all along "So... I have thought about the contract." Pausing to drink the red wine on your glass.
