Chapter 25 | She Will Be Loved

It's been almost two weeks and Wilhemina seems to loosen her grip towards you, she uplifts your punishment but still keeps you beside her around the house. You also remain kind and obey her at all times so she won't be angry or upset with you.

It's June first and you're preparing your stuff for tomorrow, it was said that everyone should arrive before lunch. All of your things are new, from your clothing to your bags because Wilhemina wants it that way. 

Everyone knows the location as you texted them three days ago. You just can't wait to go to that beach house and see everyone, especially Bette since it's been a while since you've seen her. So you get ready for bed then close your eyes to sleep.

Morning comes and you excitedly jump off of your bed then proceed to the bathroom to take a bath right away. After bathing and dressing yourself in comfortable ripped jeans and a loose gray shirt, you head to the dining area which Wilhemina is already there, drinking her morning tea. "Good morning, sweetheart." She greeted you once she sees you enter the room.

"Good morning, Miss Venable." Smiling brightly as you take a seat. 

"Someone's in a great mood." Your smile is so contagious that it made her smile as well. She also ordered a maid to put her and your luggage in the car's trunk. "Are you going to ride with me, sweetie?"

You put two pancakes on your plate then grab the syrup to pour it over, "I was thinking of using my bike, is that alright?" Pulling your lower lip to show your teeth as you're hoping she'll agree.

Her head nods and that gets you to bite your lower lip in victory. After eating, you proceed to the garage while Wilhemina proceeds to the front door as her car awaits her. You bid goodbye to your pup as you're going away for the weekend. 

You put your leather jacket on as well as your gloves then wave goodbye to Covyn one last time before wearing your helmet on and starting the engine. Minutes of heating the engine, you drive off and go to your destination. 

The beach house is quite far so after two hours of driving, you're near to your location. You see a familiar Honda Accord in front of the house's gate. Assuming that it's Lana, you stop at the driver's side of her car and tap on her window before lifting your helmet's face shield. 

"Hey, you came." Gladly smiling as you see your friend. Her hair is in a ponytail and you can see that she's wearing a brown leather jacket on top of her dress.

Lana warmly smile and let out a slight chuckle before speaking, "Of course, I wouldn't want to miss your birthday." 

You heard a vehicle is approaching and so you turn your head to see it's Wilhemina's car. "Let's go, follow me." Since the gate is open, Venable's car enters first before you and Lana. As you park your bike, both of them went out of their car and walk towards you at the same time. 

Looking at each of your sides, Wilhemina and Lana are both shocked at seeing each other at the same place. There's just this awkward silence that is so loud but you can't understand why. 

The silence was broken when Zach's car entered the parking area. You step off of your bike and remove your helmet. Zach gets out of his car and Vince is with him. They start to get their bags out of the vehicle as you're approaching him. 

"What's wrong with them?" Zach points out Lana and Wilhemina as he's unloading his trunk. You observe the two and they are casually chatting but something is off with the two.

For you not to answer that question, you ask Zach instead. "I dunno, what's wrong with you? Why is my friend driving my cousin here?" Slyly smiling as you are hinting that something is going on with Zach and Vince.
