Friday morning, you're on your way to your last exam. After this hell of a week, you'll finally graduate and live your life like how you wanted to. Another chapter of your life will open and you can finally pursue your dreams in music.

Although you only take creative writing as a tribute to your deceased brother because he likes to read and write. You really want to take music as you like to perform and to sing. Then with all of this thinking, your mind drifted to your long-forgotten family. Reminiscing turns to anger that you take a deep breath to refresh your thoughts.

You arrive just in time to take your final exam. Your body unknowingly fills up with excitement as the thought of the latter's meeting crosses your mind. As you're answering and filling in the given questions, you subconsciously grin to yourself. The proctor shushes to silence the noise, making you put a hand over your mouth to stop yourself nevertheless, a keen smile afloat.

Two hours later, you finished answering your test. You proceed to the library to return the textbooks you've borrowed. "Fucking finally. Please let me pass this last semester." Letting out a loud breath while mumbling to yourself as you open the door of the library then step inside.

You show a greeting smile to the librarian as you walk to her desk. "I would like to return these." Talking while you pull out textbooks from your bag one by one. "I know that it took me a long time to give it back, I just have to study more." A faint chortle comes out with your words.

"It's okay, sweetie." Her voice is low as if she's whispering. "Can you just put them on their shelves?" She stamps on a paper while scribbling something on it. You nod your head and get the books, carrying them to their proper spots.

One last to store away, you meander around to search for the place where you last get it. You push the book to the room you make as you fail to remember where you retrieved it in the first place. After that, you take a seat on the tiled floor of the library then recline your back against the wooden shelf, closing your eyes to repose for a while.

"Are you ready for later?" A low sweet voice wakes you up, causing you to look up. "I'm sorry, (y/n). I must have startled you." Lana crouch down next to you with a few books in between her arm and chest.

"I can't wait for later actually. Don't worry about it, I just closed my eyes." You adjust the placement of your glasses as an enthusiastic grin crosses your face. "I'll see you at the parking lot. Jerry will pick us up." Your eyes fall to her knees that are pointing at you.

You rise up before your eyes go any further, lending her a hand and hoping for her to take it. Lana looks at your hand before taking it to get up. "Jerry? He is your?" Her head slightly tilts in confusion.

"Oh, he's my driver." Glancing down to your hand that is still holding on to your professor's, you quickly pull it away out of awkwardness given that you feel her smooth palm against yours. "I'm sorry about that." You let out a tensed little laugh and turn your eyes somewhere.

Then, later on, you lay your eyes once again on her beaming complexion. "See you later, then." She fixes the books' placement on her arms before walking away, disappearing behind the tall bookshelves of the library.

Since you have no other things to do, you proceed to the parking lot to wait for Lana in your car. As you stepped out of the library, Miss Hariss calls your attention "Miss (l/n)!" You cease making another step then she catches up on you.

"Yes, Miss Hariss?" Your eyebrows pull inwards as you feel your plan is being interrupted. "Am I being called by the demon?" Rolling your eyes in irritation.

Her head slowly nods as she knows what you mean by that query. "Yes, Ma'am. She asks for you to come to her office right away." The secretary remains facing down to the tiled floor of the hallway.
