(F/N's POV)

After getting off the train and saying my goodbyes to Flash for the day, I went home and got changed into more comfy/casual clothes. I was about to sit at my desk to look at some homework I had to get done, but just as I sat down, the doorbell rang. I looked around a bit suspiciously since my aunt wasn't home. I think my nerves cranked up because it had only been a few days since the USJ attack. I grabbed my extra web shooters from my bag and put them on my wrists (I made 4 new web shooters: 2 with my suit and 2 spares I wear always/keep in my bag).

I made my way down the stairs slowly. The person knocked again. I jumped slightly, instinctively jumping onto the wall and sticking to it with all four limbs. I got down the stairs and crawled on the ceiling towards the door. As I was getting closer my phone rang and made me jump and fall off the ceiling.

???: "Parker, open the door!"

The person at the door yelled. I looked at my phone real quick and saw it was Yuri. Her text read 'answer the door'. I got up and lowered my guard slightly, finally getting to the door and opening it up to see Yuri. She sighed seeing, my on-guard stance.

Yuri: "What took you so long?"

I relaxed my stance.

F/N: "Uh, sorry. I guess I'm a bit on edge with that recent attack. Do you want to come in?"

Yuri: "Actually, I was wondering if you could come with me. Our conversation at the hospital was cut short and I had more to say. I'm sure you also have more to say."

F/N: "Sure, I have time. And I guess there is more to say if we're going to be working together. Where we headed? The station?"

Yuri: "No, too high profile. Our partnership needs to be discreet. Technically, I shouldn't really be working with you, but I'll do what I have to for the job to get done. All I need from you is your trust and honesty. We'll be going to my apartment. I have plenty of files there as well."

F/N: "Okay. Let's go."

I text Aunt May that Yuri wanted a word for her investigations, which technically wasn't a lie and we got in her car and got to her apartment within 20 minutes. She showed me to her office and we went in. I could see a pile of folders in the corner on the filing cabinet and a wall of connections with red strings. I was looking at it and it had images of the Inner Demons gang, the Kingpin (with no photograph, just a placeholder) and his connections, including Tombstone who had connections of his own. It all worked out to be a giant network of crime syndicates. There was even a group I never heard about called the Maggia.

F/N: "Whose the Maggia? I don't think I've run into them."

Yuri: "You've stopped a few of them, you just didn't know it at the time. Compared to some of these villains you've faced, these guys are less memorable. They're old-school, a dying breed really. They originate from Italy but came to Japan generations ago, carving their way into Japan, becoming prominent gangsters that rival the traditional Yakuza. Now, both the Maggia and the Yakuza groups are shadows of their former selves and can't get away with too much. People like the Kingpin and these new Demons have taken the power these guys used to hold. Your interjection in Maggia affairs and the affairs of their rivals is what made me take on your case."

She went to her desk and pulled the office chair out, turning it. She moved another office chair and spun it around to face the other. She took a seat in one and gestured to the other.

Yuri: "Sit. We have quite a bit to get through and I'd rather not be at it all night."

I did as she told.
