Author's Note
I would like to apologize for the length of this chapter. As I was writing it, I could see that it was going to be a bit of a long one. There wasn't really an ideal place to stop it and add a separate part 3, so this one is going to be quite long. Again, I'm sorry but there was a lot I wanted to fit in so that I could finish this Vulture arc of the story. If it is a bit of a hassle to read, I can always edit it down so that half of this is in this part and the other half is in a 3rd part if that's easier for you all to read it. Either way is fine with me. Just let me know! Enjoy!
(F/N's POV)
After my encounter with Vulture on the ferry, I decided to investigate the area after it closed, on the off chance that they left something behind. I tracked down there van, which had been impounded since they were forced to leave it behind to escape the police in the crowd. I found it and did some snooping. The police had removed the weapons and support gear, but I found a fake bottom to the van which had been hidden with a mechanism I had to hack. In it, I found plans for a job called "The Big One." They were planning on stealing from an Oscorp, but showed no other specific data on the paperwork. I didn't know when or where, but I was now on the lookout. I even prepared a tracker that I built which I could follow using my phone's GPS. I carried it with me everywhere in my pocket on the off chance I found the Vulture or one of his guys.

It was finally the day of the school formal and I was pretty nervous. This was the first real 'date' I had ever been on and Felicia was way out of my league in my opinion. Somehow I got her to say yes, I just hope I don't disappoint her. I was in such a rush to get home that I make the quick decision to leave my backpack at school in my locker, with my suit inside of it. I practically sprinted home after school and slid in on the hardwood floor to see my Aunt May standing there.
F/N: "May, do you mind helping me get ready tonight?"
May: "Of course, but you still have a few hours before the formal. Just breathe."
F/N: "Okay, okay."
I took a deep breath.
May: "She's been our neighbor for a long time and I know she appreciates what a great guy you've been the past few months. Just be yourself."
I smiled.
F/N: "Thanks, Aunt May. Don't know what I'd do without you."
May: "Sure thing. You can trust me with anything kiddo."
She ruffled my hair, then I headed upstairs. I hadn't thought about it much, but it has been months. About 6 months since my uncle passed away and I started this whole thing. A lot had happened. I wanted to tell May, but she'd freak if she found out that I had a quirk and that I had been using it to fight criminals and run from the cops. This was something I had to handle alone. When it got close to time, I got my suit on, Aunt May helped me with my tie and combing my hair, a little too much if you ask me. She gave me flowers to give Felicia, showed me a few dance moves, and gave me a quick pep talk before I headed out.
May: "You can do this, F/N. Just remember to have fun."
F/N: "I'll do my best."
May: "Now go, young grasshopper. And I don't mind giving you kids a ride if you need one."
F/N: "Sure thing, May. Bye!"
I headed out the door and walked over to Felicia's house right next door. I knocked on the door a few times and who answered made me nearly drop my jaw to the floor. It was the Vulture. He wasn't in the suit, but I couldn't forget that face. It was the same middle aged man with a receding hairline that has graying hair. His wings were tucked under his jacket like it was before. The smile on my faced faded away and I felt my heart beat faster.
