(F/N's POV)

It had been a few days since I got caught by the police. The heroes let me go home while they decided what to do with me. In the mean time, two police officers watched me from a far to make sure I didn't try to work as a vigilante again. It would be kinda difficult without my web shooters and costume. I could always make new ones but one good would it do. The police and heroes would know it was me and I could get into more trouble. It's best for everyone that I do as I'm told and keep a low-profile. I explained the situation to Flash at school the day after I got caught.

It didn't take long for the media to find out the police managed to arrest the spider vigilante. Jameson wrote all about it. For him, this was an absolute win. Another masked vigilante off the streets, leaving the work to professionals as he put it. He wasn't exactly wrong. Sure, I saved a lot of people and stopped a lot of crooks, but I was also unaccountable for my actions and answered to no one. I did what I thought was right, even if it was a bit shortsighted of me. If I had the choice, I'd do it all over again though. I think people were better off with the web-head and even though I'm done now, at least I had a good run.

I was at my locker gathering my things before heading home. Flash was around too and he began whispering to me.

Flash: "So, this is it, huh? No more spidey."

F/N: "Sure seems that way. I don't like it, but to be honest, I think I got off pretty easy."

Flash: "Come on, Parker. Even the pros recognize the good spidey did. No wonder they let you off the hook when they found out it was a kid upstaging the pros and doing their job for them."

F/N: "That's nice of you to say, but it's not like I'm out of the woods just yet. They haven't decided what to do with me. If anything, hearing my side of the story and finding out I'm just a kid makes their decision more complicated. If I was an adult, they probably would've locked me up by now and my face would already be in the newspapers."

Flash: "True."

All of a sudden, we saw Bakugo coming. Flash went back to his locker and fiddled around to look busy. Bakugo smirked and began to talk.

Bakugo: "Thompson, you coming or what?"

Flash: "Y-Yeah, just give me a second."

Bakugo: "So, Parker, I heard your spider pal got arrested."

F/N: "Yeah, you heard right."

Bakugo: "Guess that means you're out of a job, huh? The bugle throw you out on you ass yet?"

F/N: "Nope."

Bakugo: "Give it time. Jameson will see that you were only ever good at taking pictures of criminals like the spider. Tell you what, when I become a pro, I'll give you a call to snap my photo...only if you give me a cut of the money."

I closed my locker and looked at Bakugo. Forget the act, I'm tired of staying the quiet nerdy kid. Spidey has given me some confidence and I didn't need to take this crap anymore.

F/N: "I'll pass, Bakugo. I only take pictures of real heroes. You're just a cocky showoff who was only good for being a hostage to that sludge monster."

His face grew more serious and his eyes blazed with anger.

Bakugo: "The hell you say to me, damn nerd? How about I give you the chance to rephrase that before I blast you to pieces."

Flash looked concerned and closed his locker. He went next to Bakugo to try to calm down the situation.

Flash: "Come on, Bakugo. Just let it go. Parker didn't mean anything by it."
