Geek God and Xander Zee [ZaintSee]

Chapter 12

"Where are we going? Where is Zee?" I ask Hwahwa. She showed up at my doorstep when I was about to call Zee to ask where he was.

"Patience...I'm taking you to him, he asked me to bring you to him" Hwahwa replied concentrating on the road, as though she is not familiar with this area and trying to drive in the directions ections she has memorized.

"Is he okay... You're scaring me" I said

"I...? Am I scaring you? Look at yourself, you're fully dressed in black and on top of that wearing a black face mask and shades, if you walk on the streets mother's will pull their children to closer to keep them safe"

"Umm... I don't understand what you are saying"

"I'm saying that you are scaring me"

"Hey..." I frowned at Hwahwa.

"See... That's exactly what I am talking about, it won't hurt you if you smile a little bit will you, and remove those shades, you're in the car and no one is going to see you"

I removed the shades but I kept my mask on. I'm still shy about going out in public, it's different with Zee, I just forget about my surroundings when I'm with him. But this is the first time I'm going out with someone who is not Zee in a long time. Hwahwa and I met a few weeks ago, Zee and I along with Day and Hwahwa went on a double date. I was worried at first to meet someone new but then the moment I saw this girl we bonded, she is an artist and in a way, I am too, she said Day has shown her my works and how impressed she was with it and we kinda bonded over art and different types of styles, since she has a major in Art, she was very knowledgeable. Whenever we meet it's more of her talking and me listening, but it feels good to be with someone who is not my boss or my boyfriend.

"So... Are you still fighting with Zee?"

"No... I think we are good now" I thought about how we made love yesterday and blushed, thanks to the face mask Hwahwa didn't notice.

And yes, Zee and I had a major fight in the same week he moved in with me, that's one of the reasons he took me out to meet with Hwahwa and Day just to have a change in scenery except venting out our anger by killing each other in video games. If you are wondering why we fought, it was because he said he didn't know who Geek God was, I mean what in the freaking hell.

I'm the one and only famous Geek God, he is my boyfriend and he doesn't know who I am. When I know literally everything about him. Well, we shouldn't expect a lot for just weeks of online chatting. I was a stranger to him, yes, but when Day literally worships me and Hwahwa admires my work so much, how could their friend not know about me?. I mean like, not my groundbreaking, software crashing, glitch occurring high score, not my big-hearted donations, not even my contributions in programming for major tech companies.

Then we talked and sorted it out, I knew talking could solve problems. It was actually nice to talk and express my feelings. I know I was stupid to expect him to know me, he is not in the field, I just thought that since so many people spoke about me, like the streamers and how companies were desperate to hire me, I just thought I was famous and Everyone should know me, but I learned that the world doesn't revolve around me.

Coming to the present, I still don't know where Hwahwa is taking me, I noticed Zee acting weird in the past few days, but I don't know what he is up to, Hwahwa said that it is a surprise for me, I never knew this before but, I don't think I like surprises, the anticipation is killing me. But I'm glad that they informed me because I'm not sure if there was something all of a sudden out of nowhere. I hope there are no people, I am still awkward in public and have no social skills. Hwahwa and Day are the only exceptions.

We drove into an apartment complex and Hwahwa parked, she looked around, I stayed close to her. I think she was lost and I was lost with her, I just don't want to look away and get furthermore lost. She walked up to the security and asked "excuse me, do you know where the 3B block is?" He gave directions and she led me that way.

"Hwahwa, why are we here?" I asked while I put a baseball cap on to cover the sun from my eyes and wore the shades back again.

"Patience Geek God, we need to get there first and you will know by yourself"

"Okay now, they're getting in," she pushed me in the elevator, a couple of other people got in too, I sank in one corner trying to hide, a small girl looked at me curiously, my hood was covering my head and a mask covering my face. Her mother pulled her closer to herself and away from me, now I know what Hwahwa meant, do I look like a kidnapper? Am I that scary, I don't want to scare a child, I removed the shades and kept them in my pocket, but I kept the hood, cap, and mask on.

Everyone on the elevator pressed random numbers, but Hwahwa used a special card, he scanned it, the button that was not glowing before now glowed and I could feel the elevator going up. Everyone stepped out one by one on their floors and the little girl with her mother stepped out as well, but the little girl looked at me and waved her hand at me before disappearing. I smiled.

"Was that a smile?" Hwahwa, tilted her head and looked from under to catch my eyes which were covered by the upper peak of the cap.

"We reached," I said to distract myself. The ting sound resounded but the door didn't open, but instead, I felt the door open behind Hwahwa and I turned to look behind together. She was as shocked as I was.

"Surprise~~" I heard Day and Zee shout.

They were standing right behind us and we looked at them through the door opened behind us. I was dumbfounded,

"Woah, this is so cool" Hwahwa, exclaimed "Geek God, your so lucky"

I heard Day gasp, that's what he does whenever he or his secretary accidentally slips and calls me Geek God in office, they are the only people who know who I am.

"What... We are not in public, it's just us" Hwahwa whined

"Sorry, that was by instinct," Day said.

I was just looking behind them, it was a Penthouse, and I think it's ours now.

"Are you surprised? this is our home now" Zee said and that confirmed my assumption.
