Geek God and Xander Zee [ZaintSee]

Chapter 20

*Cut scene*

The trio kept low and finally reached the informed location of Geek God. The three soldiers killed many on the way, as they were short of supplies, they took the necessary ammunition and aids from the dead enemies.

Xander Zee now wore only a bulletproof vest, to cover his upper body, Nora had all her pockets stuffed with aids that would come in help if anyone is wounded and Rick had his sniper strapped to his back and was holding a shotgun which he took from one of the dead men on the way.

They walked inside what seemed to be a man-made cave. They walked in complete silence with The commander leading the way and the other two looking out behind and on the sides, they only spoke through signs and did not make a noise. They walked further and noticed that there was an intersection ahead, and noticed that the rest of the way had CCTV cameras. They knew that the security would be tight after this and they would be more armed people ahead. The commander looked at Nora and gave her a nod, she immediately understood and took out her dagger, she took a deep breath and threw the dagger in the direction of the Camera and it hit-making sparks shine, they walked further. Xander Zee checked and signaled the two to follow as the way was clear, Nora grabbed her knife, and one by one all cameras were down. It would have been hard to spot the three of them as they hit each of the cameras from a blind spot.

Few more turns and they heard gunshots, they took cover and Rick used his infrared camera to peek and saw that a few people were waiting to kill. All three knew that they could take them down, on signal all three of them started firing, the flashes of light filled the cave and the painful groans of the enemy were heard. Nora was hit, she collapsed but Xander and Rick did not help her but focused on killing people.

"Are you hurt?" Zee asked while shooting

"I'm fine," Nora said as she leaned against the cave wall and applied some meds on it, her life meter was full and she got back to shooting. In a few moments the other side seemed to be quiet, they stopped and walked further with their armed stance and found that no one was alive, they kept moving and someone suddenly attacked Rick from behind and held him in a chokehold, Nora by instinct threw her dagger and it hit exactly the middle of the enemy's eyebrows. He collapsed and Rick yelled

"You could've killed me"

"Your welcome" Nora said while she plucked the dagger out of the skull and cleaned the blood out of it.

"God she is such a pain" Rick mumbled.

They walked a little further and found a door. They opened it slowly just in case to be careful if no one attacks from the other side. Thankfully no one did. The place looked like a lab. They put their guard down and walked around, they looked for people but found no one until they heard shuffling from under a table. They once again took their stance with guns and knives and headed to the source of the noise. They bend down to see a frightened guy in a black hoodie covering his head and a mask covering his face.

He put his hands up by instinct, "identify yourself" Zee asked with the threatening to shoot, he was meanwhile pulled out and made to sit on a chair.

"Identify yourself, sir," Zee asked again and that's when he looked into the frightened eyes of the younger boy and saw he was unarmed, he looked into those eyes for longer than necessary, and then he heard

"I was the one to send the location of this place, I asked for your help," he said and with his finger tried to lower the barrel of the gun which was pointed at him. Zee seemed to have gone blank and lowered the gun.

"Your name smartass" Rick stressed

"I am The Geek God... Duh," he shrugged and heard laughing sounds from Rick.
