Anastasia's POV:

I had just finished my school work for the day. I had convinced my Adrik into letting me do homeschool. He only agreed because of everything that had occurred I missed a lot of school days causing me to be behind.

Making my way to the backyard where all my brothers and cousins were hanging out for the day.

"Don't worry guys I am here," I announced as all the boys turned to look at me.

"No one was worried," Anton rolled his eyes and went back to talking to Vladik one of our cousins.

"Rude! Anyways can I go out today?" I gave Adrik an innocent smile. He shook his head making my smile falter. I was only allowed supervised visits when it came to Nico. After we had been caught we couldn't be together alone, and it annoyed me. That is why most of the time I resorted to sneaking him in.

"Why?" I whined.

"Alexei is coming to pick you up in about an hour, so go get ready." I forgot about those plans. I was actually excited about today. I ran back inside to my room to look for an outfit.

My relationship with Alexei was rocky for a good period of time. I ignored his existence when he came back from Russia, that didn't stop him from trying to talk to me and apologize to me. I was scared of letting him back in, just for him to get angry and say things that hurt me. He was working on himself and I saw that. Call me stupid but I forgave him but that doesn't mean I forgot.

I quickly dressed into the clothes that my aunt Katerina had taken me to buy. She had told me that there was a specific way that I needed to dress. I missed her, but she was on a mission right now in Spain.

I strapped myself with the gun that Alexei had gifted me for my birthday. I got the knives that the twins had gifted. I realized that for my birthday they gifted me with weapons which I was glad for. I received a text from Alexei informing me that he was outside.

We had made it to the restaurant. Now that I was more trained Alexei took me along to business deals. Today we had a meeting with the Mexican Mafia, they wanted to strike up some kind of deal that was mutually beneficial.

We approached the two men sitting at the table who were conversed in Spanish.

"Hernandez," Alexei's deep voice caught their attention. They both turned to look at us, their gazes lingered a little longer on me than they should have.

"Please, sit." The man who appeared to be older than the other said. I just stayed quiet and observed. I would watch their body language and listen to them carefully. These men were misogynistic, they thought I didn't understand anything they were talking about me. They see me as eye candy that my brothers bring to appeal to them.
