Jack looked at the crystal then Emilia. [Emilia: Now I am going to leave to go take the trial. DON'T go into the woods without that crystal and DON'T get yourself killed] [Jack: I actually promise this time] Jack held out his pinky which Emilia interlocked with hers. She glared at him then walked off to go to the temple. [Jack: one last thing. Where did you use to sleep before I got here.] [Emilia: Down this road on the third right turn and the fourth house down] Jack went home. It smelt pretty bad. The house had progressively been smelling worse but the smell of the fire and stew overpowered it. But that wasn't the case anymore. The fire was dead, Jack carefully built it back up with the remaining coals. [Jack: first things first] He opened the door to the master bedroom and was hit with a foul stench that nearly made him gag. Jack walked over to Garfiel's body as he expected from what he learned in forensics. Garfiel's body was in the bloating stage. Garfieils body was a lot fatter, his face all puffy, this was just all the gasses in his body breaking down. He put the body on the sled and took it outside. Jack thought about burying the body next to the house. But he decided against it, he didn't want the chance of having to deal with the stench again. Jack carried pretty much the same loadout (as he called it) when he buried Ram but with a crystal instead of a lantern. No rabbits or Mabeast wolves or horned lions came after him. Despite this, Jack acted paranoid constantly searching around him and on the ground anticipating an attack. He finally started to be able to see where he buried Ram. Jack saw the cross, the big dead lion's body, and the two Mabeast dogs' bodies. But he saw movement, a wolf had dragged one Mabeast dog carcass and was chewing on it. Jack saw a bunch of vultures eating away at the other Mabeast dog. Occasionally the wolf would growl at the vultures and they would retreat and squawk back. Jack saw some movement in the woods; the rest of the wolf pack was there; one had a Ma beast leg in its mouth. Jack started to approach. The vultures noticed him first and flapped off immediately. The wolf pack ran and the one wolf tried to drag the carcass but ended up abandoning it. Jack walked over to the horned lion [Jack: that's what happens when you mess with me.... I'll get my ass beat. But a white-haired princess will come out of nowhere and rescue me like the damsel in distress that I am] Jack laughed. Making fun of himself and laughing at it was sometimes the best therapy. Jack cut some good chunks of meat off the lion's shoulder and legs then added them to his bag. Jack buried Garfiel it took a while. The ground was hard and he chipped a piece off the tip of the shovel. Jack didn't really bury either Ram or Garfiel that deep the snow was deep and created a significant layer. Jack gave Garfiel a similar cross. He returned and left the bag of meat outside because the cold weather made for a nice makeshift fridge. Jack grabbed another bag filling it with vegetables from various gardens, his mouth watered thinking about the final product. While searching inside Jack found a bathtub and he also found a spare cauldron. He lugged the heavy cauldron outside and filled it with snow then put it inside.  [Jack: now to battle rabbits to get Emilia some clothes to change into] Jack laughed, the sentence sounded so ludicrous. But it was the truth.

I admit this part was kind of boring to write. I bet it's pretty boring to read. I promise the next one will be interesting or at least not be as long. I am off of work right now and I have nothing to do today so I plan on doing some serious writing.
