The floor drops beneath Jack. Just as Jack feels like he is going to fall, the ground comes to his feet. It was snowy ground. Jack looked to the left, shocking him there was a dead body. The man had stuck a sword through his stomach killing him. What he was doing knowingly or not was Harakiri ritualistic suicide in ancient Japanese culture. Jack knew that bit about Japanese culture but he didn't know much about Japanese culture other than that. He didn't even think he said it right. There was a rabbit also on the blade like a kabob. In paranoia and lack of understanding of what kind of situation he was in. Jack pulled the sword out of the man's stomach. He then used his foot to take the rabbit off the blade. Jack began walking. Suddenly a rabbit went right up to him. Impulsively Jack stabbed the rabbit. He was very confused. As Jack walked another rabbit ran up, another than three at once. Do these rabbits want to die? Why do they just run up to me as a possible predator? What's bad about this? Other than people are dead, with these stupid rabbits no one will go hungry, Jack thought. I mean look at all this free food, food, food, food! Jack thought as he stabbed rabbits. The word went through his mind in sync with the rabbit stabbing.
Jack who has now only walked 20 meters had a sword filled with skewered rabbits. He couldn't fit all the rabbits on the blade. Jack took the last rabbit off the tip of the blade which was barely holding on to it. No rabbits came in the next few minutes of walking. Jack saw a chapel but it was burned down to Jack's disgust. That's a holy building, what the hell? Jack thought. Suddenly something came running at Jack. It was a boy. Jack almost stabbed him thinking he was a rabbit. But not two seconds later three rabbits came after him. Jack stabbed two but the third rabbit bit him before he stabbed it. It was harder to kill these rabbits with the kabob sword. The bite was deep and it bit through Jack's flesh as if it was butter. A piece of Jack's leg was still in the rabbit's mouth. Jack grabbed the wound in pain. It was intense pain. Jack squeezed his eyes shut as hard as he could; it took everything in him not to scream. Jack looked to the right to see the boy next to him hiding behind him.
Breathing hard and trying not to sound worried he said to the boy "Hi What's your name?" The boy didn't respond. "Not the talkative type huh" Jack stood up. Jack was walking down a street filled with houses on either side. All empty houses. One of the houses had an open door and a table with a tablecloth in sight. Jack walked to the table, the boy followed him as if he was Jack's shadow. Jack used the tip of the kabob sword to cut off a piece of cloth. Shouldn't I disinfect it, Jack thought. The kitchen in this house was still stocked; it was like the residents never left. Jack found a bottle of liquor. "Oh this is going to suck" he groaned. The boy was still right next to him as Jack rolled up his pant leg. Jack took a drink of the liquor then went to pour it on the wound. As he did he quickly tied the cloth around it. Jack tensed up and gritted his teeth in agony. Jack thought about staying there for a bit letting the wound heal, but this was his responsibility. Jack set down the bottle, grabbed the kabob sword, and continued walking. The boy still seemed shell-shocked from fear.
