Jack laid on his back. He felt the cold snow through his cloak. The blood from his injuries was warm. It was a nice contrast between the warm blood with the cold snow. Pain shot through his body but he ignored it, it was like an annoying alarm clock. As the adrenaline left Jack began to feel the pain from bruises under the wood plates tied to him. He also felt pain from areas he didn't realize rabbits had bit him from. Jack felt dizzy. The ringing in his ears set in. Welp here I am again at the brink of death Jack thought. Then he saw Emilia rush over again looking very worried. An orb of light came from her hand. Jack felt the wounds close up but the pain didn't go away. He felt cold. Emilia cradled him as if he were a baby. She held him close and he grabbed onto her with the little strength he had left. But Jack let go after he realized he was getting blood on her dress. [Jack: Did we already get this dress dirty before we cleaned the other one] Spoken like a true housewife Jack thought making fun of himself. [Emilia: It's fine you need to stay warm]. Emilia started walking towards the house while carrying Jack. She was a lot stronger than she looked. [Emilia: I don't want you to die. Subaru died pretty young and your not so young but I don't want you to die too] Emilia suddenly panicked. This stood out to Jack because he knew he wasn't much older than Subaru; he was only 18. Well at this time he'd be 19 but Subaru was 17 years old and depending on his birthday he could be 18. [Jack: How old is Subaru?] [Emilia: I don't know the exact age but he's around 12] [Jack: How old do you think I am?] [Emilia: About 29]. More of Emilia's healing gave some of Jack's blood back and he could think more clearly.
