"I love you too."

Well this is happening.

His eyes were kind. I like to think I can tell when he is lying and this isn't one of those times. His smile was sincere and gleaming.

"Don't lie to me again. Don't deceive me again. Please. I don't like sneaky Hacker."

"I won't." He shook his head, face serious for a second.

"I love you. I. Love. You." He kissed my lips in between each word, smiling wide.

He turned towards the kids skateboarding yelling the words, "SHE'S ALL MINE."

Only a few kids acknowledged him, the ones who did turning around quickly.

"Tough crowd." I murmured, not really caring about anyone but him in this moment.

A little boy, probably about 7 scootered by on his razor. "You're lucky mister." He didn't stop after he said that. Just kept on pushing himself forward.

"Yes I am."

Before I knew it, my face was in two hands, and my lips being kissed softly but tenderly.

Even when our lips separated, our bodies didn't. Vinnie kept me in a warm hug, his chin resting on my head.

I know he's the one considering the fact that I hate PDA, and I hate extreme affection. But I didn't hate this.

We finally released each other, still looking at each other, like if eye contact was broken... the world would fall from the solar system.

Unfortunately... it broke by a loud ringing sound coming from my pocket.

Shit.

I had a call with managing in 30 minutes.

"What's that for?" Vinnie asked, pointing at my alarm. "I have a meeting soon." "Oh." His face faltered for a moment before returning to his previous smile. "Just call me when your done." "I will." He kissed my cheek and I began to call an uber to Emily's house.

Luckily there was one within a minute away.

Vinnie grabbed my arm before I had a chance to walk away. "I love you Carter."

"I think you said that already." I laughed a bit, smiling still.

"I know... I like the way it sounds. And the way it makes me feel." He tucked a piece of hair behind my ear.

God he's so cute

He turned and started walking away.

I let him get pretty far before shouting out to him:

"I LOVE YOU HACKER." I yelled it from about 20 meters away.

He was right. It just sounded so perfect.

He turned and smiled, before opening the door to his car and driving away.

...

I finally got home, got on my call and finished.

"And that's when it hit me. The best idea i ever had..."

Lets go bother Vincent.

I called his phone and waited as the ring tone sounded. When I tell you this man picked up the phone in 0.5 seconds I mean it.
