"What are you thinking about El?" Christopher was sitting on the edge of our bed, watching me as I put my earrings on. "I'm just kind of nervous for tonight." He got up, and wrapped his arms around me, rubbing his thumb in circles on my hips.
"Why? You are gonna stun everybody there." He kissed my cheek, making me smile. I was going to my ten year high-school reunion. Our school had them once every 10 years. People apparently stop showing up slowly, so I was super excited to see all the kids from school.
And I know that when people stop coming, that will probably be the last time I see them. Ever. And that's scary. I don't know, I just don't want to grow up.
Ella you are married and have a fucking baby... you been grown.
I looked into the mirror, seeing the shimmering gold fabric, hugging my frame. I looked pretty damn good for a woman who had a kid.
My long brown hair fell over my shoulders, and my black heels were already hurting my feet.

He frowned, "God I wish I could go with you." I nodded. "Me too." His face lightened. "On the bright side... this means me and Ash get to have ice cream for dinner."
I rolled my eyes, turning away from him , "Fine, but only a little and make sure you give him his insulin first, and-" "A vegetable, yeah yeah." He gave a light slap on the butt as I walked out of the room.
"Go get em Ella." I blew him a kiss "I love youuu." "I love you too." I shut the door making my way to Ash's room I gave him a kiss and told him that I would be back in the morning.
I made my way into my car. I quickly realized that my hair was going to get very messy with the wind so I just put on Ash's hairband and pressed the rest of it behind my back as best I could.
3 hours later
I pulled up at the gymnasium of my old high school and parked, taking my keys with me. I immediately walked through the front doors, making my way to our old lockers.
Just as I arrived I saw all of my old friends. I felt like crying. But I didn't.
There, in front of the lockers stood Avani, Anthony, Josh, Amelie, and Emily.
"Hey, long time no see." The last time I had seen Amelie, and Anthony was at my wedding. Josh had come over about two months ago, and Avani and Emily came over a year ago. How had I let myself drift so bad?
They all turned, smiling. "Hello sunshine!" Josh came up to me, picking me up and spinning me. I laughed, looking over at the rest of the group.
"Oh my god, you look amazing mommas." Amelie came up and kiss me on the cheek. I missed her so much.
"I missed you guys so much." Fuck. Don't cry. It's way too early for this.
"Come on, lets head inside." Avani waved over her shoulder as she began walking to the gymnasium.
