Lenora POV

2011

"Steve" I whispered as I slowly sat up. I looked down to see I was in a bed, how did I get here.

"Lenora" I look up to see Steve now awake

"Where are we," I asked

"No idea" He said as he stood out of bed walking towards me, before he went to sit down he froze and stared at me.

"Do you recognize that" He said

" What are you talking about," I asked

"The radio" He says

Before either of us could say anything a woman walks through the door and smiles at us, I stand up from the bed and go next to Steve, something wasn't right.

"That game I was there" Steve spoke, The smile on the woman's face dropped.

"Where are we" He shouted

"Mr. Rogers if you would just calm down," She asked

I quickly felt Steve grab my hand he went running out the door but a bunch of people with guns stood in our way. He quickly pulled me in the other direction and ran straight through the wall. I looked around to see we were in some sort of warehouse, the room we were just in was fake.

We kept running until we got to a door we went out of it and outside, It was so loud. We ran through the streets everything was so different, where were we. We ran into the middle of a road and a bunch of vehicles surrounded us. We stood in the middle of the road while they all pointed guns at us I stayed close to Steve.

I turned around when I heard a bang, a man was coming out the way he had a long black coat on and some sort of eye patch.

"Mr. Rogers, Miss Rose" He spoke

"Who are you," Steve asked

"Nick Fury, leader of shield," He says

"When's Steve coming back" I asked as I lay with Nat on the couch.

"I don't know there were some things he had to sort out with shield" She said

It had been a week since everyone had come back, except for Steve I didn't know much about what had happened but apparently, there was a new enemy, and Steve was sorting something out with Fury.

"Right everyone gather around," Tony says as he enters the room.

Everyone comes into the living room.

"Right we have a big mission next week and I need everyone there including you Lenora" He says.

"What she can't, she isn't ready yet are you Lenora" Nat says looking at me.

"You not what I think I am, to be honest," I say standing up to look at the rest of the team.

"I can't just sit around all day I have to move on as much as I miss Bucky he's never coming back so I need to move on, I need to fight," I say, saying that hurt I didn't want to move on but I knew he was never coming back, I needed to do something with my life, I will always love him but he isn't coming back to me.

"Great now I need you to all start training as soon as possible because this is going to be a difficult fight," He says before leaving the room.

It had been a week and today was the day of the fight, we left the compound about an hour ago, It was taking forever to get to where we needed to. Steve hadn't spoken to us much these past few days which got us worried, the last thing he told us was that someone was after fury and they had to go hide.

We finally landed, we all quickly checked into our hotel and got ready. I grabbed my gun and slipped it into the back of my jeans.

I get startled when a loud knock comes from the door, I walk over and open it to see Nat waiting for me.

"Ready Soldier," She says 

"Ew don't call me that" I say as I lock the door.

"Why" She questions 

"Nat I've heard you call Steve that multiple times in the bedroom," I say, I see her cheeks go red.

"Oh shit" She says 

I laugh slightly as we gather with the others.

"Right Lenora and Natasha you two are going to meet Steve while the rest of us head downtown to the shield HQ" Tony orders, we all split up. Me and Nat get on a motorbike while the rest go off in a chopper.

The ride wasn't long until we got to Steve, I parked up the bike as Nat went over to talk to him. I looked over to see them looking at me, they looked worried.

"Lenora you need to go back to the hotel" Steve says as I stand with them.

"What why" 

"Please just go back I will explain everything soon" He says 

"Look I know you worried about me but I'm fine I can do this, I'm moving on I need to fight" I say.

"Fine, just remember I did warn you" He says.
