After the crash in 1945 Lenora wakes up with Steve to find that they have slept for 70 years, Lenora has to find the courage to keep going each day without her Fiancé Bucky Barnes who she thinks had died but when she finds out he's alive after all...
I slowly step out of the car with Wanda and we begin making our way to the front entrance of SHEILD. As we were on the way here I got numerous calls and messages from Steve, and he is pretty pissed off, so I need to hurry and find Bucky before he gets here.
We get to the front door and Wanda opens it up as I was still weak from my injury, we begin walking through the ground floor of SHEILD until we get to the elevators, I take out my key card and swipe it then type in the floor I want to go too. We wait only for a few seconds when it arrives, a few agents step out and then we step inside.
The journey is silent until the elevator stops an we get to the floor.
"Do you know exactly where he is" Wanda asks as we walk through the hall.
"We will have to see" I say turning right.
We continue walking until I finally see the door that leads to where Bucky should be. Bu there are numerous guards stood outside. I turn to Wanda and she nods. I watch her walk over to them with her arms raised, red coming from her fingers and then in to the guards neck, they both drop to the ground and then she waves me over, I run the best as I could over to them.
"Did you kill them?" I ask looking at the two unconscious guards.
"No just sent them to sleep for a little while" she shrugs. I nod in reply before leaning down to one of them, I take there key pass from there pockets and swipe it against the door, It opens up. I shove the key pass in my pocket and walk into the room, I look around and all I can see is well nothing. Its pitch black.
I was about to ask Wanda something when the lights start flickering, and one by one they turn on. I can slowly begin to see the room. I see glass windows and a door next to them and in a few were people, bad people who deserve to be in here, not Bucky.
We start walking through the room as we look for Bucky, all the people who were in the cells were against the window watching us like hawks.
"This is scary" Wanda says.
"It is" I say as I continue to walk.
I finally see his cell and I start walking faster, I go to the window and that's when I see him sitting on a bed with his hands in his hair.
"Bucky, were here" I say, he doesn't look up.
"Wanda get this door open" I say she nods and start opening the door but she stops when a loud voice startles her.
"Stop right there" We both turn around and see nick Fury with Steve walking straight towards us.
"Lenora get away from that door" Steve shouts.
"No Steve my fiancé is in there I'm not leaving until -
"He's not your fiancé through is he? No he doesn't even remember you" He says stopping right in front of me.
"What the fuck is your problem" I shout, he had no right to say that to me.
"My problem is you Lenora, you wont leave him alone, your always around, just back off let me spend some time with him, I lost him for all those years too" He shouts.
"I get that but he's my fiancé, so Nick open the door" I say as I slowly feel tears in my eyes.
"I've got to do it Rogers" Nick says before taking out his key card. He swipes it and the door opens I walk in and find him sitting on a bed his elbows resting on his knees his eyes down to the ground. I walk over and crouch in front of him.
"Bucky"
"Lenora" he whispers.
"Yes its me, you can come home now" I say as he looks up. he smiles and nods, I take his hand and lead him out the cell where everyone was stood. He smiled at Nick and Wanda before turning to Steve.
"You know Steve I may not remember things yet, but if I ever hear you talking to Lenora like that again I will have to kick your ass" he says seriously.
"Okay, I'm sorry Lenora" Steve says before walking away from us all.
